resident Barack Obama is done waiting. After a year spent hoping that Speaker John Boehner and House Republicans would pass immigration reformand following a conversation with Boehner confirming that the House would not act this yearObama on Monday set in motion the machinery for acting on his own. Specifically, he instructed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) chief Jeh Johnson and Attorney General Eric Holder to give him recommendations, by the end of the summer, for executive actions he can take on immigration reform. But what could those actions look like? Heres a quick rundown:

Didn’t intentionally mean to cut off the “P” in the first sentence. But I like resident Obama much better than President Obama.
Seriously? He can just end programs or start new ones with Executive Orders?
1. Expand the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
2. Reform the Secure Communities fingerprint program.
3. End state and local law enforcements role in determining enforcement priorities.
4. Mass pardons.
I like to think of Ø’s title without a couple of the middle letters... Pres-ent.
It just happens that’s what he did in the Sinate, and does now as well. Just can’t seem to find any ‘ID’ about him.
Mass pardons? How can 0bama give pardon’s to people if he does not even know their names?
If an action isn’t a violation of the constitution or isn’t something that will cause republicans to blow a major artery Obama isn’t interested.
“Seriously? He can just end programs or start new ones with Executive Orders?”
All on his lonesome Nixon gave us the EPA via executive order. Now, my understanding is this so annoyed the Democrats that they took this power away by law. But here we have Obama doing it.
I’ve discovered that in the corporate world you can do almost anything until somebody stops you. But you’d be amazed at what you have to do to get somebody to stop you. Now, Congress could stop him. But they won’t.
He can go back to KENYA, there’s a start.
He should be impeached on DACA alone.
lol
That still doesn't make them citizens.
I am visualizing something like "The Second Emancipation Proclamations".
He will simply point to Ford’s blanket pardon of Nixon
We need Regan like stance:
Are you better off than you were 8 years ago?
Do you think that your grandchildren will have a better standard of living than you?
Do you think we need less hypocrisy in government and more experienced leadership?
Well one thing I found a little comforting is that none of the actions listed, actually gave people citizenship.
Congress has given Obama a pass on taking prosecutorial discretion to the max. I think the only way Congress is going to bring that back under control, is to tie funds to specific types of prosecutions and prohibit those funds being spent on other activities. And even that wouldn’t stop the President from just refusing to prosecute.
Two of the policies essentially are abdicating his role as enforcer of laws and one — mass pardons — would be an outrageous abuse of a power not meant to be used that way. If he could do that, then he could “reform” drug laws by issuing mass pardons to anyone who was put in jail for a drug charge.
Why is this even a surprise? Community organizer and Acorn Lawyer Obummer has been well trained by Alinsky. And some people thought Obummer would be no worse than Mittster! Ostriches anyone?
I WAS SERIOUS!
haha
There's a fifth:
Deport his illegal ass back to kenya, indonesia, wherever!
These actions don’t include giving them citizenship but they do include barring local law enforcement from taking action. So, if you only have the Feds and they refuse to do anything and he hamstrings locals, what’s left?
I wonder if he has a country or parents?...the test tube alien baby from hell created in Area 51.
