How Can Anyone Trust Obama?

Do you remember what President Obama initially said about the Internal Revenue Service scandal? Do you recall his professed outrage?

Obama wanted us to know how furious he was. He said, "The misconduct that (the inspector general's report) uncovered is inexcusable." "It's inexcusable," he repeated, "and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in any agency — but especially in the IRS, given the power that it has and the reach that it has into all of our lives."

He declared that the "responsible parties" would be held "accountable." He reported that Treasury Secretary Jack Lew "took the first step by requesting — and accepting — the resignation of the acting commissioner of the IRS (Steven Miller) because given the controversy surrounding this audit, it's important to institute new leadership that can help restore confidence going forward." He said he had directed the agency to implement recommendations from the inspector general to ensure that this outrageous conduct would not be repeated.

Obama once quipped to French President Francois Hollande, "That's the good thing about being president; I can do whatever I want."

I'm sure the drive-bys will jump on this tomorrow.....

Right now Obama is playing his lib base like a fiddle, racism, sexism, homophobia, 1%ism, every card in the book, the book of 2012.

Anyone can be bought. Especially freeloading, low information ‘RAT types. Give them a few freebies and they’ll roll you over and scratch your belly all day long.

You can trust Obama more than you can Republicans. Obama always does what he’s supposed to do and what his side wants him to. You may not like it, but you can trust him to do it.

But the Rino-lovers on FR tell me that I have to vote for them no matter what! Because getting stabbed in the back is better for me somehow.

Obama is becoming more and more obstinate. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

I know what you mean with your frustration with the 'pubs, but trusting 0bama, I don't think so, he's an anti-American radical.

We are again going to have to hold our noses and vote republican in 2014, and maybe again in 2016.

We need our country back!

The problem in America is not as much Obama as it is the stupid brain-dead morons that twice elected him.
I can rationalize his first election as white guilt and the public be pumped daily by the Marxist media and Marxist educational system. His being REelected told me that America had jumped the shark.

The late singer Andy Williams was right, Obama “wants America to fail.”

My FRiend, we are at critical mass, we need to get the 'rats out, what ever the case. They HATE this country, and we love America!

Our choice to be obstinate and not vote, or to again vote for the lesser of two evils.

Vote for the lesser!

There in for a rude surprise. They can’t afford to alienate the Tea Party, yet they are. That’s how dumb they are. That is why you let them lose, even to a Democrat because getting those entrenched incumbent rino’s out is more important.

Know what, though? It ain't workin'. Those Old '60s Activists that made the post-911 world such a complete aggravation are retiring, entering care homes, or dying off. They leave behind their Gen X acolytes who haven't got a clue. The fiddle is becoming more like a dime-store ukelele.

I definitely disagree, We are the aging ones.

The average FNC and talk radio listener is about 50.
Obama definitely got the younger vote.

Its that its not working for Obama and Dems like it was in 2012 because Dems are disappointed and demoralized, and Republicans are riled up.

And its a midterm.

Obama is doing every trick he knows to get his 2012 voters to vote again this year, but its an uphill fight for Dems.
Most Senate seats up are in states that Obama lost. And there has been some bad news since the last election.,

No 2014 doesn't tell us what will happen in 2016 at all.

Yes. I keep thinking that the last election was the one that really mattered. It was then just barely possible for America to turn things around. Romney, for all his flaws, might have had the right stuff to put America back on the path toward solvency and strength. Voters preferred the America-hating socialist with the politically correct skin color. I lost faith in the "wisdom of the voters."

ANOTHER outrageous lie! IIRC, Miller had already turned in his resignation before any of this hit the fan. So nobama and Lew take the opportunity to look like tough guys demanding Miller's resignation. The problem, of course, is that the LIVs could care less. This conduct is way too sophisticated for the LIVs "gibbsmedat" mindset.

Nope. MUST disagree. Don’t know whether it’s the idiot lib teacher on “Beavis and Butthead” that they grew up with, or the fact that their parents were Reagan-era 20-somethings, but things outside the Dem-controlled cities are STRONGLY changing to Realville conservativism. People are completely fed up with the ‘60s “Oh, what a beautiful world it would be...” crap. Reality is setting in as the “60’s Activists” retreat to their walkers ... and that’s a good thing.

I clearly remember similar nonsense being posted here in comments in 2010 because Rush was saying it.

2010 like : “Look at this. The country is turning conservative. Heck Obama has given up on winning re-election. He doesn't even want re-election. These are his last days and he knows it and doesn't care. Everything he does is unpopular. Heck, he may cancel the elections due to this”

Its called midterm euphoria.

When its nothing but standard and predicable midterm backlash against ruling party.

Similar to backlash against GWB in 2006.

We have a HUGE uphill fight!
