Something very strange happened to me this past week. I was seated in my library chair, mulling over current events, trying to make a few New Year’s predictions, which is the custom for commentators. I was concentrating hard, when suddenly, I saw before my eyes a headline from the New York Times. It read, “Congress Votes to End War; Troops Ordered to Abandon Iraq.”

The view changed. Just as in Vietnam three decades ago, I saw Americans clinging to helicopters, trying to get themselves out of Baghdad along with friendly Shiite Muslims. There was massive confusion, bombs going off in the background.

And then, I saw pictures out of Afghanistan. Al Qaeda had toppled the new Afghan government. Marines and soldiers again were hurriedly boarding choppers. It can’t be real, I thought—but it was.

“The next thing I saw was a picture of Palestine, where most of the al Qaeda terrorists had now gone. The Israeli government was in disarray, reeling under a series of huge bomb blasts in Jerusalem.”

Some Christians here on FR in the past have pointed out a possible connection to Islam and the pale horse mentioned in their book of Revelation.

Revelation 6:8
“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.”

‘Pale’ is translated from the Greek word, ‘chloros,’ which means pale or pale green which happens to be the color of chlorine gas.

So the horse is actually green which is represented by the environmental whacko movement and the other, Islam.

Currently there are about 1.6 Muslims out of 7 billion right now which is a little over 1/4 of the world’s population.

Which religion rules by the sword and has done so for the past 1,400 years? Islam! And where ever it spreads it brings death and destruction in its wake.

What is also uncanny is that The Book of Revelation speaks of Christians being beheaded.

Beheading is the execution of choice for members of the religion of peace.

The book of Revelation is open to a lot of interpretations and is not the best place to begin reading the Bible. (Book of John is better).

The story is about an evil “anti Christ” dictator who takes over the world — which is almost destroyed until Christ returns.

Islam is literally anti-Christ so that fits well.

Maybe Islam takes over the earth and uses electronic tagging to enforce Sharia?

Then a totalitarian Islamic world government would be the “beast” and the image on the hand and head could be vein or facial recognition or some kind of implanted chip.

Either way Freepers could be toast since what we say here lasts forever.

Anti-Christs are not just Christian-haters. They are false saviors.

Any false savior that gets world respect is going to have to deal with Islam. It’s possible someone could arise in the context of Islam and perform enough acts to satisfy Moslems that he is the real McCoy, and yet capture the respect of the rest of the world as well.

Maybe Islam will attempt to exterminate Israel and God will deal them swift and terrible justice (to the tune of spending 7 years burying the dead)

I think the real enemy is much more subtle than that and is driving islam more for the purpose of instilling a world-wide dread of monotheism.

To the world we already have "...the savour of death unto death..." (2 Corinthians 2:16) and that is what the real enemy wants to inflame.

You wont hear the world squawking about islam but you will hear it squawking about 'religion' and we all know just who has that neon bullseye in the middle of their backs.Those...."...which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
