WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine was denied access Tuesday to the Fort Sill facility being used to house unaccompanied minors who have illegally crossed the U.S. border, the congressman said Wednesday.

U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine's office released this image Wednesday morning of the congressman being denied a visit with immigrant children being held at Fort Sill.

U.S. Rep. Jim Bridenstine's office released this image Wednesday morning of the congressman being denied a visit with immigrant children being held at Fort Sill.

Bridenstine, R-Tulsa, went to the Health and Human Services Department facility at the U.S. Army post in southwestern Oklahoma but was not allowed to enter. He was told he should make an appointment by emailing a department official and should expect to wait about three weeks.

Bridenstine said, “There is no excuse for denying a federal representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held.

“Any member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks.”

A QUESTION:

Who believes this same thing would be happening if had Romney been elected?

Leftist politicians glide through their careers as though there were no Internet, no YouTube, no newspaper archives, no history books, no one worth knowing who does not agree with them.

Protected as they are by the media, they feel free to ignore the past as it happened and reconstruct it as it suits the purpose of the moment.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave remarkable witness to this willful amnesia with her hysterical—in both senses of the word—re-imagining of San Francisco in the seventies....

Speaking of Jonestown, the atheist “religious leader” Jim Jones was the toast of liberal San Francisco throughout the 1970s. All the leading Democrats—George Moscone, Harvey Milk, Willie Brown, Jerry Brown—came a courting http://www.cashill.com/california/ms_pelosi.htm

Yup, like the “child victims” of gun violence.
IOW gangbangers. MS-13 and others.
One of the ways they can stay is by claiming they were victims of gang violence. For all we know, they were ‘asked’ to leave.

2 years? Aren’t the parents going to be brought in under reunification like next month?

Ilegals cross the border illegally and they register to vote illegally with the help of a ‘coach’. When the voter registration form asks if they are a US Citizen Yes or No, what do you think is the answer?

Good point. I'll bet a majority of them were.

I heard the interview and it was creepy.

But what is even creepier is that this administration has gone completely rogue in ignoring the law and the constitution and no one seems courageous enough to hold them accountable.

It seems like all the Generals and a good number of congressional representatives would have marched into the White House and taken him into custody by now.

Maybe it's time for all the veterans to get up and march on Washington. Since congress won't obey their oath of office, someone should hold them accountable, too.

I'd say that veterans should stand and honor our Oath of Enlistment, but I think it said something about obeying the orders of the President.

I know for a fact they are ‘coached’ to lie. I know this from the 1990, 2000 and 2010 census.

They follow a ‘coach’ or community organizer in much the same way as those poor Mississippi blacks who were told McDaniel was a racist and were paid $15 to vote for Cochran.

Oath of Enlistment:

"I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

You will notice that the "obey orders" clause is dependent on "according to regulations and the [UCMJ]". The UCMJ is very clear about obeying only lawful orders:

To Obey or Not to Obey?

they're citizens backing up their mayor, so keep them behind the lines on this one. A confrontation between mayors and their sheriffs and the home boys wouldn't be much of one. The sheriffs'd just escort those lads to the town or county line and bid'm have a nice day. Then wind the matter through the legal system for years - at least 2, anyway.

The Democrats don’t want Bridenstine to go back to the halls of Congress and infect the whole bunch of them with some of the diseases that these people are bringing with them. That’s why they don’t allow congressmen access to the facility.

Instead they are shipping all these invaders to Republican districts and releasing them until their “hearings”.

I’d say this is pretty close to biological warfare.

Thanks for the ping; post.

Quite the smack-down, Jim. Your title means nothing to totalitarians or their brownshirt minions. Be thankful you left with your life. RESIGN and know that you did your very best.
