The Republican who lost a primary runoff election to Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran is taking the first step to challenge the outcome.
Chris McDaniel's campaign said it believes it has found about 4,900 of examples of improper voting in the June 24 runoff. Most of them were people marked as voting in the June 3 Democratic primary and the June 24, the campaign said.
McDaniel spokesman Noel Fritsch said the campaign served papers Thursday to Cochran's son, Clayton, giving notice of the intent to challenge based on allegations of improper crossover voting.

Haley Barbour is bribing as many judges as he can
Well, well, well..LSM finally reporting, this will not end well for Cochroach/Barbour clan
The LSM is probably walking on eggshells to ignore the real scandal(s) here.
I’d so like to see Haley’s Southern bacon get fried.
The narrative will be the tea party is racist.
They already think white people are racist. Who gives a toss what they think.
You may be right that the TEA Party will be called racist, but I thought one comment after the article at the link is particularly interesting:
“The TEA party is VERY dangerous in this situation, because the TEA party has no power to rig elections and therefor has nothing to hide, so they have no qualms about digging in the dirt.”
Haley must be just about out of palm grease.

He doesn’t have to bribe them.
He appointed a bunch of them or helped them get elected. They are part of “Good Ol’ Boy Network.”
And he’s motivated. This is his kid’s Senate seat we’re talking about here!
Although I do not think I can post a link, WJTV in Jackson just posted a
story from the MS Secretary of State regarding True The Vote. In the response
to the lawsuit, the MS SOS says they maintained no poll books from
the June 3 primary or the run off election.
This is illegal and pure fraud. It also is a lie, based on pics of poll books
posted here. Time for a revolution in MS.

5. Party Primary Elections are the responsibility of the Party, not the Secretary of State.
The Secretary of States Office does not certify primary election results. The Secretary
of State only receives certified results from the party in order to prepare the General
Election ballot.

The Mediacrats will support the GOPe all the way to making sure Cochran could do no wrong. Then in November they will use this as a club to hit cochran over the head.
Thanks for clarification.
Thanks!

That's bunk.
The election law didn't just materialize out of nowhere on its own. It was crafted by the legislature, adjudicate by the judiciary, and executed by the Executive. All the arms of Mississippi government are involved in the faithful execution of the laws that they put in place.
Sure, the parties themselves have the responsibility of reporting their results, but it's the state that has the criminal oversight responsibility to ensure that the election is conduct in a fair and legal manner.
This statement by the Secretary of State sounds like they are washing their hands of it and walking away from their oversight responsibility, because they know that it means the end of Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour.
