Chicago's police superintendent lashed out at what he called lax state and federal gun laws after a violent Fourth of July weekend that saw more than 60 people shot and nine killed in a city already known for frequent shootings.
"There has to come a tipping point where this changes," Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Monday of the violence. "The illogical nature of what's happening here -- that government can intercede and prevent this from happening is overwhelming. And I refuse to think otherwise in a great country like America that we can continue to allow this to happen -- not just on a state, but on a federal level."
McCarthy said the violence unraveled a string of successes by police in suppressing gun violence this year. The city saw 21 shooting incidents on Sunday alone, he said, although three of them may have been self-inflicted.
"These offenders need to be held fully accountable for violent behavior to prevent them from ending up back on the street too soon," he said, adding, "There's too many guns coming in and too little punishment going out."

I’ll bet the vast majority of shooters and victims were blacks and Hispanics. But of course the media wants to blame the person with the AR-15 who has never shot anything other than paper plats and tin cans.
Weak gun laws in Chicago were the cause? Then all of Indiana and downstate Illinois should be absolutely covered in blood by now.
Chicago is still no closer to figuring out what their problem is.
How many of the guns used were bought and carried legally?

I was near Chicago in the early 2000’s my wife asked if I wanted to go into Chicago? I said are you crazy and you want to go! She said no I have no need I just didn’t wanna hold you back! Screw Chicago!
Garry McCarthy, member of the IACP, (International Association of Chief’s of Police)a liberal, anti-gun organization. The IACP is committed to anti-gun legislation. It’s a Trojan Horse organization that I believe will take a lead in the militarization of police forces that some here say they see.
An example is the practice of giving college graduates preference over military veterans for jobs on the police dept. This did not used to be the case. In my opinion more college graduates are indoctrinated at liberal run universities, less so in the military.
There have been articles written about the IACP but I do not think most people are aware of exactly who they are and the danger they pose.

The problem is lawless out of control black males. Period. Take that group out of the equation and you've got an average American city.
If cops are tired of babysitting the Chicago black community they need to switch policing incentives. How?
Charge people for police service by zip code. Add it on to their electric bill.
When people have to pay for out of control thugs they'll drop the 'no snitch' game. They'll drop the 'cop is my marriage counselor' game. They drop 'cop is a stand-in father' game.
The non-black community is forced to buy home security systems so cops can concentrate where the crime is... we pay for nothing. Non-blacks have become part of the perverse incentive system. And this police chief... I doubt he's spent an hour thinking outside the box in his life. Switch incentives.
McCarthy is a joke. He is utterly despised by a majority of citizens. I have NEVER heard anyone say anything positive about him.

Oh, Chicago knows fully well what the problem is, and Chicago politicians and liberals are knowingly encouraging that problem. They WANT it, so they can use it as an excuse to grab even more power over the people.
