how does the militia defend the border, they have no “authority” to do it?

How did militias defend the bundy ranch. They had no “authority” to do it?

How would a state in the 1780s have reacted if a tyrannical president forced them to accept invaders? they would have said no. And they would have done whatever it takes to demonstrate that sentiment.

This country was built on courage, not little GOPe panty wastes like you who say we can’t do anything about anything. If people like you had been in charge we’d still be a british colony.

What exactly did the ‘ militia” do at the Bundy ranch?
Did they physically attack the feds? or touch the feds in any way?
NO they made a great show of people not willing to let the feds walk all over them.
and it was a tremendous victory for the people

but you suggest we or militia or state guard physically take people away from federal control.

Do you live in Texas?
Are you willing to go to the border with a weapon and take people out of federally controlled centers and then shove them into the Rio Grande?
OR are you ok with other people going to the border and physically stopping people from coming in? or taking people out of detention centers at gun point?

What state do you live in?

It sounds all heroic and stuff but it is not reality?

Perry can deport these illegals ...

**************

Perry doesn’t have custody of the illegals. They are being held by the Federal Gov’t by either
the Border Patrol or the Department of Human Services neither of which are under
the control of the Gov. of Texas.

When the illegals cross the middle of the Rio Grande river they are in the US, state
of Texas. Does any other governor of any of the remaining 49 states deport the illegals
within their state lines? If all 50 governors could do that and did then we may have
a solution to part of the problem.

However the #1 major problem is blocking them from coming in to start with. My suggestion
is to change the deportation rules for these types of illegals, give them a meal,
send them back to where they came from and tell them to fill out the proper immigration
papers. And finally start building the border barriers immediately.

There’s lots that perry could do, he could tell the feds if they aren’t going to do their job to get out. He could refuse to have illegals in his state. He could back the militias and protestors when they block buses. He could That’s just a few examples.

BUT then Perry has been a GOPe doormat on immigration before wasn’t he? Yes he was http://www.nbcnews.com/id/44675117/ns/politics-decision_2012/t/how-immigration-blew-rick-perry/

So Perry tells the feds to leave?
and they don’t leave which they won’t, then what?
Back what protestors and militia who are trying to stop what buses?
hey we want the buses to roll since they are taking the illegals away from Texas.
BTW so far there haven’t been any protestors blocking any buses.

It is easy and simple to say, do this, do that
but you need to think ahead.
so a Gov sends the state guard to the border. and one of them tries to stop a federal border agent from taking an illegal into custody and gets killed>
I guess that is ok with you?
or say these guards you want to go into feral centers and take illegals to deport shoots and kills a fed who have drawn his weapon
each Americans doing their jobs but one kills the other
are you ok with that?
how many are you ok with dying to make your point?

So why is rick perry writing letters to Obama (strongly worded too, like Hanz Bricks would do I’m sure!) Instead of doing something real?

Flashback—perry calls anyone who doesn’t agree with illegals in state tiuition as “heartless”— derails own 2012 presidential campaign-

this country was built on courage and action not cowardice and cries of victimization.

Imagine if the founders of this country had had your attitude

“wah wah, the british are our bosses, we can’t do anything to stop them, wah wah.”

If people like you and the rest of the GOPe had your way we’d still be a british colony.

So if the state militia killed a federal agent or vice versa which one would be the coward?

And what if hundreds of texans catch TB and die?

And what if America turns into a 3rd world country?

And what if the dems continue to pump illegals into the US, bleeding taxpayers dry and giving them democrat control of everything indefinitely and they get more and more tyrannical all along the way?

Oh wait, I forgot, these are not yours or Rick Perry’s concerns.

**************

Shouldn’t it be all of our concerns? That said how do you propose that Perry take these
actions when the Feds are in control of the illegals? I agree with you they need to
be removed but I’m not sure Perry is the one to do it. I think our Federal gov’t is
going to have to change their ops and get these people out and tell them to get in line
with all the others awaiting immigration okays.

Congress being, our Senators and Representatives, needs to be front and center with plans
and details. So far not much is coming from them other than a few trips. JMO

I can answer
If or when there is even a hint of TB getting into the non illegal community the state would provide vaccinations for those who have not been vaccinated.
What the other states are going to do when it happens to them I don’t know.I care about my state.
One state can’t do much to prevent the entire country from becoming a third world country when you have a piece of chit man as POTUS.
So far Texas is doing all it can to not become a third world state and so far we are doing ok.
I am not a Perry fan.I hated it when he gave illegals instate tuition. And I hated his TTC plan.
I am so glad he is gone in 6 months.
I can however understand what one Gov can and can not do against the Fed.
Sending state guard in to confront armed Feds is not a solution

those last two posts of yours seem pretty reasonable. Not a lot I could disagree with.

I do believe there’s more that Perry can do (we can agree to disagree on that I suppose). But you are certainly right that congress could do more.

As the government grows more tyrannical, and that seems to be the way its headed, its going to be up to people like those at the Bundy standoff to stand up against it.

Democrats have gone pure evil-stalinist, and republicans are scared of their own shadows. Its going to be up to the people to right this course, if it can even be righted.
