Obama 'Happy to Consider' Deploying National Guard to Border
Breitbart ^ | 7/9/14 | Tony Lee

Posted on 07/09/2014 9:13:53 PM PDT by Nachum

On Wednesday, President Barack said that he was "happy to consider" deploying National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border to help local law enforcement officials stem the tide of illegal immigrant children flooding across it.

After meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry in Dallas, Texas, Obama said sending National Guard troops, though, would be a "temporary solution."

Obama said if Republicans wanted some National Guard troops to be sent to the border as a condition for approving the $3.7 billion in funding Obama requested, he "would be happy to consider it."

The National Guard is loyal to their state.
Regular army & Airborne, they’re probably a lot less loyal to Caesar than he would like to think.
Their oath is to the Constitution, not a ‘blood oath’ to the little fuehrer.

I am of the opinion that we need a “border guard” functionally similar to the Coast Guard. Basically a service of trained soldiers (Infantrymen / MPs) who operate within 5 miles of the US southern border. Have them build at wall and turn back those attempting to cross illegally.

This is a conspiracy between the soetoro / jarrett / soros regime and the governments of Mexico and the other Central American countries. It is treason and no one in the Republican Congress has the spine to call it what it is or to stop it.

“It is. Governors control the state national guards UNLESS... the pres steps in.”

I would think that could happen only if the governor was incapacitated or it being a national emergency.

Yes, he really wants the National Guard on the border. His thinking is that they can help change diapers and babysit.

U.S. Const. art. I, § 8 [The Congress shall have Power] To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

U.S. Const. art. II, § 2 The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States;

Statutes do not amend the Constitution.

Tex. Const. art. 4, § 7 He shall be Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State, except when they are called into actual service of the United States. He shall have power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.

The federal executive has no authority to alter a state constitution.

The federal executive has no authority over the Texas State Guard.

The federal executive has no authority over the Texas reserve militia.

The federal executive does have authority over the Texas Army National Guard and the Texas Air National Guard only when they are called into actual service of the United States. At all other times the Governor is the Commander in Chief of these forces.

There is no reason for Governors to stand by idly while their State is invaded.

The only reason Obama is getting away with this is will. He does not have the law on his side, he is violating law. Gov. Perry does have the law on his side, yet he seems to have no will.

History is decided by action.

No additional funding. As I’ve posted before, take the money being spent for the housing and upkeep to date from the amount of USAID we’re sending the parent countries.

Why are we sending these central American countries tens and hundreds of billions of dollars each year (for decades now) if their poor, who are supposed to be the ones being helped by those hundreds of billions, are running away from them?

It won’t be long now before Barry has the National Guard down there changing sh*tty diapers and doing the illegal aliens’ laundry right alongside the Border Patrol.

BINGO!

I read that Jarrett has/had been working with “immigration” activists and of course we know where turncoat soros is coming from. He must have a trillion or so to make if the US disintegrates. These two own zero’s soul.

Some thoughts on illegal immigration mess:

1. Bottomless pit? Do pro-amnesty supporters and Obama want us---out of the kindness of our hearts---to welcome those children from Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras forever until there are no more children in those countries, because they will all be in the US?

2. Is this immigration mess turning into a bottomless pit, where wave upon wave of children flood the US, and where there is no solution in sight?

3. Undocumented: First, they were called "undocumented". A word that I still don't understand.

4. Refugees: Now the pro-amnesty people are using the term "refugees" to describe this flood of illegals.

5. If they are refugees, why don't they head south toward Brazil and other countries farther south. But no, they all head north, and even bypass Mexico.

6. No tattoos: if a person has tattoos covering the visible parts of his body like his face and arms, he must be sent back.

7. Bottomless pit: Again, is this immigration mess turning into a bottomless pit, where Obama and pro-amnesty people won't be happy until every child in Central America journeys to America and is allowed to stay? What a mess.

I refer to them as ‘unlawful entrants’.

‘Illegal immigrant’ implies that they have some sort of legal status that needs to be considered.

The sooner we turn the language back around, and force an acceptance that these people have no status, no standing, no rights on our side of the border, the better.

he is shirking his constitutional duty. impeach the futher mucker now.

so what if he can’t be removed now. impeach him anyway. what he’s done deserves it.

if we win the senate chances are mccain, graham, snowe and murkowski would stop removal so just do impeachment regardless.

I have not seen or read the bill but I'm almost positive that there's
traps in there that will grant Naturalization to all illegals if Congress
passes it. Only Congress can grant Naturalization and Obama has broken Constitutional law.
If he can get Congress to pass this phony bill Obama will get a pass.

To late for me to dig up the intentions of the framers again.
We need to see that bill they want fast tracked in the dark of night.

How could you negotiate with a person who just ignores the anything he doesn’t like in the deal after you pass the bill
