But the law says we have to keep them...scabbies, smallpox, TB and all....
Why does Obama want billions to deal with this? We could fly them all home for 20,million, from what I hear.
That's what Caroline Kennedy's Profiles In Courage Award is for.
Which means the usual 30% want to turn the USA into a third world dump while 10% still can’t find their asses with two hands and a clue.
The problem is that there is a law he passed that prohibits the United States from sending illegal unaccompanied minors from Central America back to their home country.
Until Congress changes that law, the illegal alien kids will keep coming across the border and the ones that are already here will be governed by that current law.
Due respect to IBD, as long as we pretend that our country is a mob ruled institution, majority favors this and that, people are misled.
If these news organizations could just reach over and get their copy of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they could be reminded of the only job that anyone in the three branches are supposed to do, and that includes that wimp, Rick Perry.
Then we could get to work on getting these people sent back to their countries of origin, with instructions on how to emigrate to our country properly.
That’s it.
what you hear?
What do you think?
Did it cost them 3.7 billion or even 20 million to get here?
And the numbers will be far higher when Americans figure out that the majority of these “children” are teenagers and adults.
“Send the children home to their parents”
If Obama were to do that, we could impeach him as sending those kinds back to Central America would be against the law.
Oh, yeah, Catholic Charities is the Catholic Church.
Right.
We have already paid the churches to take care of them, and now Obama wants another $3.8 billion? It’s only 8 million? to send them home on planes.
Well they can be generous with taxpayer dollars already received in grants for this crisis in past three years.
Pelosi is FOS. They are NOT Americans. They don’t even act like Americans. They should not be loaded onto the backs of American taxpayers. The commies always love to talk about everything being “fair”. There is nothing “fair” about this horse****. These people are the problems for Mexihole, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala to solve. They sell Sharpies and cardboard down there. They can make all the “Today We March, Tomorrow We Vote” signs down there in their own homeland. If they don’t like the lifestyle, they should be protesting their own governments. Send them home!
Some of the newbies may be fairly conservative and thus is a net win for the country.
I remember when Fidel Castro emptied the mental asylums and jails and let them float over to Florida, the Marielitos I think they were called during the Carter’s admin. I think. The crime and dependence on welfare went through the roof in Florida and a huge majority had to be confined in detention camps. I would not be surprised to find these new illegal immigrant “children”, 80% of whom are males over the age of 14, are the rejects of society, too, from South America. You don’t learn from history, you repeat it.
This article is from 1998:
Could we just get over Catholic Charities.
If Planned Parenthood called itself Catholic, would you condemn the Church for performing abortions.
Senator Santorum had a special reason to be critical of the organization. He had just emerged from an intense debate about the political future of the welfare state. At issue was a Republican bill that sought to curb the growth of the welfare state by eliminating the idea of a welfare entitlement and transferring some programs to be administered by states. Senator Santorum, a proponent of the bill and a devout Catholic, was alarmed to witness firsthand the role of the Catholic lobby especially Catholic Charities in scuttling the most important parts of the bill.
His conclusion? The number one opponent, and perhaps the most effective opponent, of welfare reform was Catholic Charities. This organization, he implied, was more interested in maintaining its own status as a benefactor of government grants than in promoting true charity to the underprivileged, much less witnessing to the truths of the gospel in a way that is distinctly Catholic.
