Fighting raged in Ukraine's east on Wednesday when separatists tried to break through the lines of government forces near the border with Russia and a tentative step towards agreeing conditions for a ceasefire failed.
Eleven more Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the space of 24 hours while hundreds of bodies of rebels were found in shallow graves in a former separatist stronghold, the army said.
Fighting has escalated sharply since Friday with the downing of a Ukrainian military transport plane and the deaths of civilians in air and artillery attacks on residential areas on both sides of the border, which Russia and Ukraine have blamed on each other.

this is why Ukraine army got out of dodge, what ones could escape.......and why the Ukraine commanders went for help from the towns people to rescue their soldiers....they were literally sitting ducks in an open field.... practically looking down the barrels of these....100% Kievs fault for sending these young and new soldiers without equipment or operators.

Yes, I’ve never seen firing as that....imagine the Ukraine Army soldiers just seeing these lining up. Like the Commanders said...’they have no chance against this’ and that was before these were fired!
I also believe Kiev citizens know very well what they are sending their sons into, and why they are fighting the Army when the trucks leave to take their kids to the front lines. They’ve been protesting all week pretty much to no avail.

Oh definately.....it’s pretty apparent there are many untrained and unequipped Ukrainian soldiers fighting. Even the Neo-Nazi broods have been getting hammered. Unfortuantely other nations have sent in experienced soldiers, special forces, and basically hit squads who are the real leaders over the Ukraine Soldiers now.
Still....you cannot train men who don’t want to fight Poroshenko’s personal war....and forcing these soldiers , under threat, to the front lines only creates the rage of the citizens of Ukraine we see happening.
