Maybe hope springs eternal, but I’m starting to think someone might go to jail on this one.
I wonder if the IRS thought the investigation would be thwarted before it went this far. If so, there is room for hope. No waving a magic wand, this will take some time.
Abolish the department. Imprison all associated.
I wonder if the IRS will ask for more time on Friday?? Would the Judge give them more time?? What other legal maneuvering can the IRS use to stall or out-right defy the Judges rulings??
If a handful of high-level folks look like they’re going to get some serious time, they’ll likely talk for diminished sentences.

I don't get it. How can "The IRS" swear to anything? It's an organization. Don't we need people to swear under oath?
Why not just scrap the IRS and go to a either value added tax system or a flat tax system? Wouldn’t either of these be a lot more efficient?
So, according to the IRS’ way of thinking, I should be able to file my tax return when it is convenient for me, rather than some arbitrary date that some bureaucrat has decided upon.
I’ll try that next year and see what happens.
