[ Well, at least in polite conversation. I grew up about 15 miles east of IT. ]

I blame the altitude because everyone in boulder appears to be “High”.

I didn’t see any of the generation assets included. That means Boulder will always have to buy power.

Yup. Next thing you know, some city will condemn a residential area because they think they can get more tax revenues if it were rezoned.

Boulder is a nut house and they should build a wall around it to contain the inmates at the asylum to keep them away from sane and honest people.

Real estate is one thing, but in this instance they want to take over a business that a company built and operate it, infrastructure they did not build, install or maintain..............

They don't want any power generation facilities, although if they could close them down they'd be happy. They're after the distribution resources so they can hook up their own wind mills and magic power sources. Can't have anyone profiting from the rape of Gaia, can we?

If they accomplish this, I’d tell them you get the wires, the poles, and transformers and a couple of buildings. NO equipment, NO personnel, NO spare parts, NO electricity, and promptly disconnect the lines from the main lines into the city limits....................
