EXCLUSIVE: RINCON PENINSULA, Texas -- U.S. Border Patrol agents on the American side of the Rio Grande were forced to take cover Friday night when high-caliber weaponry was fired at them from the Mexican side of the river, sources told FoxNews.com.
The weapons were fired at the U.S. side of the riverbank in the area of the Rincon Peninsula across the Rio Grande from Reynosa, Mexico, at about 8:30 p.m., sources said. Bullets ricocheted into an area where Border Patrol agents were positioned, Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, told FoxNews.com.
Border Patrol sources confirmed Gohmert's account, and said the shots may have been fired by .50-caliber weapons.
"We don't have any armor that can stop a .50-caliber round, so our Border Patrol agents had to take cover when the rounds were richocheting around them," said Gohmert, who has been in the area for the last week to get a first-hand look at the border situation.

At least there will be nightly reports, on the lame-stream, warning Americans that moslems (aka terrorists) are streaming in with hispanic criminals' help and cooperation. Exactly correct Jane. There are many of the oath takers (those that took the oath to serve and protect) being taken out of the picture by changing diapers. Then there are the politicians aiding and abetting the invasion by refusing to secure their states (aka governors) and then there are the federal politicians (congress, president, sc) that are betting on the enemies of America to beat the Citizens by using the Citizens' money to place their bets on the enemy. Of course the politicians also took the oath to serve and protect but those the politicians are serving and protecting are those invading America. Why would the federal politicians and the state politicians insist that the Citizens house, feed, cloth and give medical care to an 'illegal' invasion more numerous than the stars of the heavens to take America away from Americans? Perhaps according to the politicians, it is the right and proper thing to do. That serve and protect thing was said with crossed fingers and forked tongue by the politicians. Standard operating procedure one could conclude.

Each round is about 10 or 12 inches long, a giant bullet....
A hauntingly slow and steady discharge in one to two second intervals and the shooter usually walks them into the target.

“high caliber” is a nonsense term. It is either a large caliber or a high powered weapon.
A high caliber sounds like something fired from a mountain top or by a valley girl in middle school.
