Video of Alex Castellanos Schooling a Frustrated Maddow on Equal Pay
She acts like a little high school girl, getting all upset when her pet view of the world turns out to be completely wrong. She doesn't have the intellectual wherewithal to refute it. Not as smart as she thinks she is.
She makes no point other than to repeat the mantra that women make 77% of men, and then disregards vital points that men work longer hours by choice and have chosen difficult fields like science and engineering.
Equal pay for equal work is more Dem nonsense to enrich trial lawyers at the expense of America. They destroy this country further to aggrandize their own political power.
Madcow is so annoying I just wanted to beat her senseless with a baseball bat to get her to shut up.
He didn’t school her. He wasn’t allowed to get a word in edgewise. The moderator kept saying let Rachael talk, let Rachael talk. Rachael went on and on and on which is the way liberals try to win arguments, dominate the discussion and don’t let your opponent get to speak until the time runs out.
I worked in engineering and worked a great deal of overtime.
I was paid much, much less than the men with whom I worked.
Just think: she passes for one of the smartest people in the room.
We are truly being governed by the stupid - but we put them in charge.
So who’s the real idiots?
I don’t think anyone counts Maddow as a “smartest in the room” type. And “we” didn’t put her in charge of anything. MSNBC and the rest of the MSM are lefties and they will hire lefties exclusively.
I was thinking about strangulation, but your method sounds more effective.
The guy(Castellanos) looked like a man trying to swallow a turd, and just could not do it.
Shouldn’t this be flagged ‘breaking news’?
I’ve worked with women all my life in different jobs..... 45 years now.... We all made the same at every job I ever had.
Ms Ron Reagan just epitomizes low-info voters. They completely tune out any info that doesn’t fit their delusional world view and are therefore totally ignorant of it.
He certainly is an unhappy young man.
That’s a little cryptic.
Did you work as an engineer with other engineers?
What field of engineering?
Did you have the same title as the other engineers?
Were you employed at the company about as long as the others in your group?
How did your work output compare to the others that were paid more (quantity, errors, etc)?
How large was the company?
One last question, how long ago was this?
OK, whad’ya got? 77 cents per dollar!
Well I'll see your wage gap and raise you a death gap - since 92% of work related deaths in 2012 were men, basically because they take on the more dangerous jobs.
So gee, Rach, I guess it's NOT equal work after all.
Tell you what, if you can help to find some way to narrow the death gap, then I'll start to consider narrowing the wage gap.
But until that time happens, please excuse the guys who might put down their jackhammer so they can give a wolf whistle to the good looking cappuccino carrying 77-percenter lady that happens to walk by them on a hot summer day, okay?
“Let Rachael make her point. Let Rachael make her point.” == “Let Rachael keep the lies front and center.”
On second thought not so amusing after all.
On the other hand, if it were true that women were paid 77% as much as men for otherwise identical work, then there's a secret way most companies could massively cut their labor costs, by up to 23% (if they presently had only male employees) simply by firing all the men and then hiring equally-qualified women for 77% of the pay. Then again, if companies haven't already done this this, then why not? Don't companies only care about bottom-line profits?
It was a utility, and it was back in 1990.
It’s true. She’s nothing but a bully. David “30 round Magazine” Gregory - no ulterior motives here - was obviously there only to let this Lesbo Putz make her sound bites that she could credit off-MSNBC air to MTP.
They have a rigid script, and the number one rule for any publicized debate is “stick with the lie” over and over and over again.
Well SD, you could have joined the union.
In management the pay structure was a private matter.
But around this time women started getting an inordinate number of the promotions. You know; a sort of sexual affirmative action ....
All true, but then she made no points but occupied air time, which is a strategy.
What Casto said, really stuck, and that he was able to say it really frustrated her.
In the past year I’ve hired 4 college grads at entry level for the same job - gave every one of them the exact same pay even though 2 had a masters. They are all blank slates to train the right way. 3 women, 2 guys (1 of each with the masters). All engineering degrees.
I remember when Clinton’s WH press secretary Dee Dee Myers left and Mike McCurry took her place along with a salary of about $30K more than what Dee Dee was making...........LOL!
Thanks, you saved me the trouble of clicking on it. Your observation confirmed what I thought.
