Some remarkable statistics in a new report from Human Rights Watch and Columbia Law School's Human Rights Institute:
And then there's 'The Sting 2,' starring Jackie Gleason. All I remember about it is that it included a scene on a roller coaster. All of the high-profile domestic terrorism plots of the last decade, with four exceptions, were actually FBI sting operations—plots conducted with the direct involvement of law enforcement informants or agents, including plots that were proposed or led by informants. According to multiple studies, nearly 50 percent of the more than 500 federal counterterrorism convictions resulted from informant-based cases; almost 30 percent of those cases were sting operations in which the informant played an active role in the underlying plot.
The four exceptions are the Boston Marathon bombing, an attempted car bombing at Times Square, a plan to bomb the New York subways, and a shooting at Los Angeles International Airport. (The last of those took place in 2002, so it isn't really "of the last decade.")

To my mind, the FBI, CIA, NSA, DHS or the TSA has never provably stopped a terrorist action BEFORE it happened.
We often hear how they have prevented this and that, but they are lies, frankly, often with background lies that cannot be substantiated because of dubious claims about operations in foreign countries.

Of the 4 “exceptions”, the Obama adm not only knew of 3 but made preparations for the attacks.
Rush Limbaugh derailed the preparations for the subway plot and it cost him an NFL team.
That would be the “spontaneous” protest the Obama adm. tried to orchestrate with the Gates and “police acting stupid” dust up before the “spontaneous” planned bombing of the subways.
Immediately prior to the 2010 car bombing in NYC the Obama adm. and the dems tried ginning up “spontaneous” protest by claiming the TEA Party were a bunch of ultraviolent right wing extremist Tim McVeigh wannabes, then with the “spontaneous” attempted fertilizer car bomb the Obama adm claimed it had to be the TEA Party because they were a bunch of ultraviolent Tim McVeigh wannabes and it was a fertilizer bomb like McVeigh used.
Right before the Boston bombing the Obama adm. set about ginning up “spontaneous” civil unrest with whites, blacks, and Hispanics and the bombing was “spontaneous” with only 2 days planning then there was a “spontaneous” plan to attack NYC.
Again the left tried to blame it on the TEA party.
Look at the airline plot from 2012 just before the “spontaneous” protest and “spontaneous” attack in Benghazi.
The Obama adm sent people to Florida to gin up “spontaneous” civil unrest because Trayvon Martin got a well deserved pop. The terrorist then gave the govt agent the bomb and told him it was up to him to time the bombing of the airliner.
Since it was a govt agent with the bomb it was up to Obama as to when to announce the airline plot.
Orchestrated civil unrest followed with terrorist plot, exact same pattern as the others but we know without a doubt the Obama adm controlled both ends, the civil unrest and the timing of the plot.

What about the attempted bridge bombing, just South of Cleveland?
A friend worked undercover some years back - told me the story of a sting where every person involved was law enforcement. They had ‘captured’ each other. Luckily he knew enough of the people to call a stop to it before someone got hurt - which can happen. Also, if someone is trying to get you involve in something violent - you’re probably dealing with a cop.
I'd be more apt to say it's an indictment of the surveillance state. The government had all the information at its disposal that it needed, but couldn't put two and two together because of the sheer size of the bureaucracies involved.
Size of bureaucracy and infiltrating ideology which makes any active search of communist or Obama links in terror taboo.
