Another reason Lindsey Grahamnesty has to go: He's probably compromised

Posted on 07/24/2014 12:50:48 PM PDT by Javeth

I was recently visiting some extended family in South Carolina that's come around to support Tom Ravenel's Independent Conservative candidacy (my thoughts on that below), and got a look at yet another side of Grahamnesty's betrayal of the Constitution and conservative principles. It looks like Lindsey Graham is even worse than a RINO traitor who's willing to sell the country down the river for amnesty and the h1b visa, and he didn't back that traitorous immigration reform bill just for pats on the back from the Obama admin and Chamber of Commerce bribes-- he's also a compromised traitor.

My extended family in SC are news junkies and had always voted for Graham before, but like millions of other conservatives were outraged by Graham's amnesty treason. Most thought it was just because Graham's been paid off by Obama operatives and the Chamber of Crony Capitalists (to use Mark Levin's brilliant phrase), but my folks out there had recorded some old news clips of Graham's statements from 2013, and there was a shocker in there.

The Boston Marathon bombings occurred right in the middle of Senate negotiations on the immigration reform bill. And when the news came that this terrorist attack had been carried out by two immigrants from Chechnya, refugees no less, nearly all the Senate-- even other RINO traitors and their pro-amnesty Democrap counterparts-- all of them paused the bill for a while to pay respect to the American victims and reconsider security provisions of immigration policy.

But there was one disgusting exception: Lindsey Graham. My SC relatives had old C-Span and other news clips of Graham in the aftermath of the Boston bombings, and his reaction was shocking. Not only did Graham pay no respects or condolences at all to the American victims of that heinous attack, he was almost screaming in his insistence that the Boston bombings wouldn't deter his efforts within the Gang of Eight to pass amnesty. Graham's attitude wasn't just deeply offensive, it was almost bizarre, like he was desperate to confirm to someone watching that he was still all in to flood the US with cheap labor and defend the breaking of the law. Now, as bad a RINO traitor as Graham is, this seemed extreme even for him. But my relatives out there had no trouble figuring out the most likely explanation.

Anyone who's seen him knows Linda Graham is a major closet case, so it follows that he has a lot of secrets he's terrified might go public. And ever since the Snowden revelations about the NSA came out, it's no longer just conspiracy theory to suspect that Obama and his goons are using the intelligence apparatus to blackmail vulnerable Republicans into doing his bidding. After all, protecting the NSA's dirty work seems to be Obama's top policy priority. Obama doesn't care much that the economy is falling apart, and he constantly wimps out against Putin or real terrorists in Iraq, but when there was a claim (which turned out to be false) that Snowden was stowing away on the Bolivian president's plane incoming from Russia, Obama actually ordered the plane down as it traveled through south France and Italy. This was an unprecedented and embarrassing diplomatic violation that enraged pretty much everyone in South America and has basically resulted in a continent-wide shift away from US companies as retaliation.

But for Obama this criminal international incident was "worth it" because the NSA snooping is his top priority-- with even the partial exposures that Snowden's revealed so far, it's pretty obvious that the NSA has a lot of useful dirt for Obama to use against Republicans, especially Lindsey Graham. That's the only way to explain Graham's over the top and positively bizarre reaction to the Boston bombings-- Obama's goons almost certainly have compromising photos and emails on Graham (and so do, most likely, the crooks at the Chamber of Commerce, probably using its own dirty money and insider lobbyists to bribe the NSA in alliance with Obama). Graham knows this and he's terrified of it all coming out, so he's basically become a reliable whipping boy for Obama and the CoC, especially on amnesty. While it may appear that Graham sometimes opposes Obama on the Sunday talk-shows, that's little more than lip service-- he comes off as a fool who doesn't do any real damage to Obama, it's just for show to pretend he's offering up at least token opposition. No, when it comes to the real issues and votes, Graham is all aboard the Amnesty Express, willing to shred the Constitution and conservative movement to do it. It's maybe the most compelling reason why Graham simply has to go.

My thoughts on Tom Ravenel? Before my visit out to South Carolina, even as much as I detest Graham, even I wasn't sure about him given his history. But when I actually got a chance to listen to his honest and plain-spoken views, and hear his genuine Constitutional conservatism, my folks out there convinced me that he really is the best alternative. Nobody is flawless, and if anything the politicians trying to pretend otherwise are often the most dangerous seeing that they'll go to great lengths to continue the charade. And in line with the Bible's teachings on this, I'm not one to cast the first stone, especially against an earnest conservative like Ravenel (who very well may been railroaded in that case to begin with). All of the most successful people I've worked with-- my managers and mentors in business, my commanding officers in my unit, my best teachers-- all of them made it clear that the worst obstacle success is getting caught up in looking for a perfect solution or a perfect candidate. Evaluate things comprehensively, and never let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

After all, Ravenel's crimes are minor in compared to the high treason that Graham regularly commits against the Constitution and the American people, and from what I saw from those old clips, I'd agree it's pretty clear that Graham's been fully compromised by his own dirty secrets, and thus he's an especially dangerous liability to the conservative movement. Which is why he has to go, and if anything it would be fitting for a chastened and earnest conservative opponent like Ravenel to take him down. (Would be great if we had someone like that to take Lamar Alexander down too-- all the more important for conservatives to organize "pre-primaries" to unify around a single conservative alternative well before official primary season to take down McCain, Flake, Ayotte, Corker, Wicker, Rubio, Heller, Kirk, Hatch, Hoeven and any other pro-amnesty traitors in the upcoming primaries.) I get tired of all the pleas about tolerating Graham for the sake of trying to get a majority (as if it would make a difference-- even Glenn Beck made note that McConnell is desperate to pass amnesty almost as much as Harry Reid). But the great part of this, we don't even have to worry about that in this case. We don't need to fret about vote-splitting or the Democraps vulturing the seat-- the Dems have pulled out their funding and basically conceded in the SC Senate race, so it's a race to elect a true conservative, and with the options on the table, only Ravenel fits the bill. Given Graham's prior betrayals and now clear indications that he's been compromised into doing Obama's bidding and carry water for the Chamber of Crony Capitalists, Ravenel is by far the best option. Not perfect, not flawless, but to paraphrase my commanding officer on these kinds of things-- he's what gets the job done, and that's all that matters.

The Uni Party will see that Graham survives, because he plays ball with the Left and with the McCain/McConnell/Cornyn/Gang of 8/Republicrat Establishment.

He is a “Pet Republican”, the Democraps feed them positive media exposure from time to time and he follows them on the issues like a little puppy dog....

Linda Graham is a disgrace. Even more of a disgrace are those good conservatives in Georgia who keep re-nominating and electing this jerk.

If the GOP lost their chance of a Senate majority because of defeated RINOs, it would send a message even the Establishment couldn’t ignore.

You know, it’s always struck me as odd that Lindsay “Goober” Graham was the one government official who said anything about the missing nukes last summer, coincidentally just as Obama was considering attacking Syria for trumped-up chemical weapon charges.

http://charlotte.cbslocal.com/2013/09/03/graham-nukes-in-hands-of-terrorists-could-result-in-bomb-coming-to-charleston-harbor/

The other thing is, notice the timeline. Graham makes the statement about missing nukes possibly being used against Charlotte. Then, a few days later, we have BridgeGate in NJ. Which incidentally was the weekend of the 9/11 anniversary, a fact that very few media sources acknowledged as they tried to use BridgeGate to ruin Christie’s presidential aspirations.

So my idea has been that the loose nukes were thought to be headed toward a target inside the US, but Homeland Security was sitting on their hands. So, as a hasty precaution, the Port Authority of NY-NJ abruptly ordered an unscheduled traffic study on the George Washington Bridge, as a pretense for slowing traffic down enough to look for the missing nukes.

It’s just a theory. So is Graham compromised? Sounds like he knows things that others don’t.

This may be true. He may be hiding secrets as they suggest and blackmail etc. However it may be that he has nothing to hide and still acts like he does. I don’t think conspiracy / blackmail is required to explain what RINO drama queens do. Same thing with Judge Roberts. The conspiracy theorists may be correct but I don’t think those theories are necessary to explain the behaviors.

I can support Graham over any democrat. But if Graham is replaced by a more conservative republican, that would be better. Obviously that is now 6 years away. Primary in SC is over.

The people of SC voted for this spinster. Aunt Nancy won the primary. So either stay home, write in a vote, vote for the Dhimmicrat or vote for him(her?).

The seemingly power of the GOPe is daunting.
