The Internal Revenue Service said Thursday individuals who fail to get health insurance this year will be fined a maximum of $2,448 and families with five or more members can be fined up to $12,240.
Under the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate, people are either required to obtain health insurance or risk a tax penalty from the IRS

It’s as though they are trying to pick at The American People trying every hour of the day to provoke them to finally snap so they can declare martial law. BTW there have been reports by credible sources of signs with Martial Law and This Area Declared Under Martial Law from credible sources lately that are not rumors. A trooper in Colorado pulled a truck with Mexican plates over and saw a very large number of signs going to a warehouse in Chicago and another batch numbering in the thousands was observed in a truck in Wisconsin. Tell me something isn’t up.

I had to purchase temporary insurance since my employer does not offer a group health plan and my enrollment did not fall within an open enrollment period.
My insurance broker told me that the policies available as temporary care do not meet Obamacare’s minimum qualifications and I am going to be ‘taxed’ anyway even though I have health insurance.
Lucky me.

second way is if you’re a christian, to drop insurance altogether and go into one of three health-sharing ministries recognized by obamacare and be covered that way.

If the premiums for a silver plan (memory getting a little hazy) would be more than about 8.5% of gross adjusted income, the penalty/fee is waived.
