As Ukrainian troops gained ground in eastern Ukraine in early July, separatist leader, Aleksander Borodai, a Russian national, left for Moscow for political consultations.

After what he described as successful talks with unnamed people there, he returned to the rebel stronghold of Donetsk to introduce a new senior figure in his self-proclaimed republic, a compatriot seasoned in the pro-Russian separatist movement in Moldova and a war between Russia and Georgia.

The Ukraine was free and independent until their government was overthrown by the EU and west. Now your saying the the illegitimate government they were left with should be free and independent?

Elections were held. Porshenko was elected president. Obama's Yats has resigned.

You are repeating an old Putin talking point. At least use one of his new ones.

So you’d be in favor of California or New Mexico doing the same thing with Mexico butting into US affairs, right?

How ironic because that's all the two provinces Donetsk and Lugansk are asking for.

And yet, I can prove that every poll taken in the East and South gives an entirely opposite story (including Pew), and that the only ones saying otherwise are the thugs with guns who are known to abduct people and murder them for having wrong opinions, and who had an "election" where the results were declared before they received.

And how do you know what they want, because you believe the Putin media?

So if Texas and Alaska decided they no longer wanted to be part of The United Obama States you would be in favor of bombing them back into submission?

How ironic because that's all the Russian interlopers in the two provinces Donetsk and Lugansk are asking for.

There fixed it.

How ironic that that's also all the Mexican interlopers on America's southwestern border are asking for as well.

They are as we speak and their police and military have on multiple occasions both crossed the border and fired across the border.

You should check out Free Republic lots of good information on what's really happening on our Southern border gets posted there.

A minority of people in both oblasts are ethnic Russians. If there was a real sympathy for independence, the pro Russians would have held a legitimate referendum. They did not.

And the Ukraine Junta is doing everything they can to stop them.

Another one using an outdated Putin talking point. Shows how much you think for yourself.

There fixed your question again.

We should do just what the Ukrainians are doing and drive the interlopers back across the border.

You got a problem with that???

Then, you’re saying you should favor it since you favor it for Ukraine.

Hey, you played the abstraction card. That's a different game. : )

Each human person is created in the image of God--no abstractions. It's what grants human dignity and deserves respect. It isn't deserved on account what is done--although there are such deserts--but deserved for what each one is.

Check out the US Civil War, Boris. We can be pretty tough on our own. Your operators may not have told about it.

Reagan would be horrified at both Obama and Putin and he would be horrified to see what Putin is doing in E. Ukraine.

Again ??

Wow, this is like what, the fifth or sixth time the SBU let the media know Russians have just moved in and taken over?

Geez, there must be a lot of different Separatist commands in the East and Southeast. Not like anyone supports the Separatists, just lots of different commands some outside power would consider significant enough to take over because they had a command structure and some organized capabilities.

Funny how all the big brave journalists who like to call themselves War Correspondents are all over a US operation but won't get anywhere near Ukraine, Syria, and Iraq. Just the PR puff pieces from one side or the other, that's what actually gets out.

Oh, and Facebook along with naked Ukraine kittens. Not the Photoshopped kittens, the real, hard cold, reality kittens.

The red areas are the ones who don't want to be part of the EU and Ukraine.

Yanukovych ran as pro EU. The conclusion that you draw from your map is utter nonsense.

If you had posted the map of the latest election it would show that the pro Russian guy Dobkin got about 2% of the vote country wide.

The red areas are the ones who don't want to be part of the EU and Ukraine.

Yanukovych ran on a Pro-EU campaign, which you know already, though you insist on repeating the lie otherwise. Thus your map would prove the opposite of what you want people to believe.

Here is Poroshenko's results. The grey represents where no election took place.
