The SF Bay area is probably the worst ground for Huckabee’s Christian Socialism. The right leaning people are more libertarians and the socialists hate religion.
Conservative talk radio of all types does well here. Rush, Hannity, Levin, Savage, have been on the air for years.
I will admit that some local talk does tend to be libertarian leaning but the KSFO morning drive man, Brian Sussman, is a staunch social conservative. He was the lead in to Huck but Huck could not hold the audience.
They didn’t cancel it, he quit. He bombed nationwide.

From what I remember reading, he quit to pursue other interests and focus more attention to his weekly TV show.
