Dr. Milton Wolf confronts Sen. Pat Roberts about debate (video)

EMPORIA, Kansas – Dr. Milton Wolf on Wednesday attended an event at the Emporia Chamber of Commerce where Pat Roberts was to hear from business owners.

Wolf said he modified his schedule to attend the event.

That is where he confronted Roberts to debate ahead of the August 5th primary.

Senator Roberts told Wolf now wasn’t the time.

Wolf told Roberts he would go anywhere to debate.

Dr. Milton Wolf sent the following statement to KSN:

“I have offered Pat Roberts numerous opportunities to debate because I feel Kansans deserve to hear from those seeking to represent us before we cast a vote. This election is going to be close. Sinking in the polls, Pat Roberts has unleashed a volley of new negative attack ads to try and stop his freefall in the polls. It’s time for him to abandon his Washington style tactics, and actually debate the issues like any real leader would.”

Don't know that I'd be voting for Roberts, even though he's been there a long time, he has voted for most of what we Kansans have asked him to vote for.

As to Wolf, we know far, far too much about him and lying is the least of his sins. The guy's a charlatan and there are a number of Kansas voters who know the truth about him.

This isn't about standing behind Roberts, it's about NOT voting for Wolf!

A friend of mine asked him about some issues and he not so politely told her to go to his website, it was where he listed everything he stood for. She said she was only asking about one or two things but he insisted that she'd learn "everything she needed to know about him from his website."

Not a good way to talk to someone who might just be willing to give you her vote.
Sorry for your friends experience, however, based on the fact that Roberts has been endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce whose stated goal is Amnesty (U.S. Chamber of Commerce Endorses Pat Roberts for Senate),

and given that Both the Senate Conservatives Fund and the Atlanta-based Tea Party Patriots Citizen Fund announced their endorsements of radiologist Milton Wolf.

and that Mark Levin has endorsed Wolf over Roberts BREAKING: Mark Levin Endorses Dr. Milton Wolf for US Senate in Kansas ,

I think I'll stick with Wolf, thank you very much!

The Madison Project has also endorsed Milton Wolf over Pat Roberts:

Fort Worth, TX – The Madison Project PAC, the first conservative PAC to endorse Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Matt Bevin (R-KY), announced today that it is endorsing Dr. Milton Wolf for U.S. Senate against Senator Pat Roberts in Kansas:

“We’ve interviewed dozens of candidates this cycle, but few are as passionate and articulate in defense of restoring our Republic as Dr. Milton Wolf,” said Jim Ryun, Chairman of the Madison Project and former Kansas Congressman. “Even though he has never held public office, Dr. Wolf has exhibited a command of the issues and a dedication to conservative values that is lacking among most individuals in Washington. Senator Roberts has served admirably for a number of decades, but if we ever hope to rebuild the Senate majority on a solid conservative foundation, we need fewer career politicians and more citizen leaders like Milton Wolf.

“When I served the people of Kansas in the House of Representatives, I quickly learned that the big government mentality is entrenched in the leadership of both political parties. Despite losing the majority during the Bush years, many of these same Republicans have failed to learn the lessons of the past. They have not shown a bold contrast from the Democrats and a consistent desire to fight special interests and protect our constitutional values.

“I wish I had served alongside more members with the moral clarity and intellectual honesty of Milton Wolf. He understands that 21st century conservatives need to give voice to our Founding values in the halls of Congress, and on Main Street. His principled voice on current issues pending before Congress has already empowered Kansans by forcing Senator Roberts to change his voting habits. Milton will continue to fight for us every day of every year he is in office, which, as promised, will be no longer than two terms. In particular, he will be one of the U.S. Senate’s loudest voices against Obamacare.”

[ Pat Roberts is AWESOME, he is always in his district talking to his constituents...

AFAIK his constituents are located at:

1615 H Street, NW Washington, DC 20062

That’s the HQ for the US Chamber of Commerce ]

Indeed his district is K-Street and he is always talking to his constituents

I know of and even know some of these people and very strongly support them, though Jim Ryun's support from his own hometown people (Topeka, KS) wouldn't hold up and they sent him packing complaining that once he got to DC, he wasn't interested in his hometown folk. This is what Wolf is claiming about Roberts, so it's very ironic that Ryun loses his congressional seat from KS by never spending any time there and no longer lives here either but in DC!

I know that they have signed on to Wolf based upon the recommendation of at least one of them (hopefully not merely Jim Ryun) but the people in Kansas who do know who has been really "walking the walk" and Wolf's not that guy.

One of the largest conservative groups in Kansas is "Kansans for Life," and they won't support Wolf but do support Roberts!

Wolf also claimed that he was supported by Bobby Jindal and Ted Cruz, neither of which was true.

We, in KS, actually recognize who has been working on such things as running George Tiller, Planned Parenthood and Wolf has never, ever helped, endorsed or donated a nickel toward any of these or other conservative issues!

Many of these guys are anxious to rid congress of stale has-been's and that's not a bad reason but if out-of-towners were anxious to find a conservative candidate to replace Roberts with, we surely have a decent sized list of them but nope, they sign on to someone they've met, usually online, know nothing at all about and have no idea that most conservative Kansans either know nothing of him or, as I and a few others, have very negative opinions of him.

Sure he wrote in some online blogs early on with the recommendation of himself because he was "Barack Obama's Doctor Cousin who is Against Obamacare," people around the country came to know him from those articles - and think they know him and have even become angry with those of us from conservative circles in KS because we refuse to support him!

Maybe it's just me, but if conservatives around the country want to replace all sitting Republicans, thinking that's the way to get the country back on track, might, just might try asking Kansans who we'd like to run in that race but nope, some conservative from Texas is hopping mad because I refuse to sign on to their idea of my Kansas candidate for the Senate!!!

And who is wrong here, someone from DC, Texas or wherever who has chosen my ideal candidate for KS Senate and tells me I'm a liberal because I prefer to choose my own Kansas candidate!

Last time I noticed, the TEA Party wasn't supposed to be a party run from the top down but from here in Kansas, it sure looks like outsiders are trying to run the show for us!

The good people of Topeka sent Jim Ryun out of office for the same reason he how believes Pat Roberts should leave - moved to DC and forgot his constituents in Kansas!

Ironic, Jim Ryun no longer lives in Kansas either but wants to tell us whom we should chose to replace Roberts with!

Doesn't that strike you as a bit odd?????

And since when does someone who gets elected from the state, loses that seat and moves to another state, still believes he should choose what is good for the state that didn't think he deserved the job???

Nope, we in KS know Milton Wolf and don't like him, don't like his obnoxious ways, don't think much of a guy who's never supported anyone for office, all of a sudden tells us he's they guy for us and if we don't happen to like it, tells us we must be RINOs because we don't jump at the chance to toss another guy over in favor of someone even his own neighbors don't care for?

You've posted a lot of fluff with no relative value.

Why would these conservative organizations back Wolf over Roberts, if not because Wolf is the better CONSERVATIVE candidate?

Why has the Chamber of Commerce, with their stated goal of getting Amnesty across the finish line endorsed Roberts over Wolf?

NO Kansas conservative group has endorsed Wolf - period!

Yes, what i've said might be mere "fluff" to you but should we, or you for that matter, be forced to have a guy (or gal either) that you neither want, support nor like, be chosen by people outside your state, who were also kicked out of office (as in the case of Ryun) for being out of touch with his voters?

I do have other reasons but would have to share some private issues of others should I relate them on this forum.

I do have some very real issues of my own but again, do not choose to expose private conversations in which I was but one participant.

Lastly, I'm assuming you do not live in Kansas, so you have no dog in this hunt but just as I'm not going for presume to select your candidate, I don't choose to have others select mine, especially when I already know that candidate is personally a jerk!

Let's just agree on this one but remain FR(iends) here.

Yes, please share if you know that Wolf’s “lies” are worse than Roberts’, pretending that he is a Kansan. All the people whom conservatives despise support Roberts. I hope that it’s evidence more than paid ads that have convinced you. Bob

I’m voting for Dr. Milton Wolf. I had enough of Pat Roberts. It is time to term limit him. I am also supporting the woman taking on Kevin Yoder. People in Lynn Jenkins’ district should get rid of her.
