Apparently many stores in the area have run out of bottled water. Can't use water at all for: bathing, brushing teeth, animals, people and any fruit or veggies bought in the last 24 hours should be thrown away. Can NOT Boil then use the water either.

Any Ohio Freepers around?

This is some very serious S#!%. I just talk to a Berkey Water filter Rep and this is what she told me:

Nicole 15:49
At this time, we haven't have data for Microcystin. It is a toxin produced by the bacteria. So even though the Black Berkey Elements can remove 99.9999% of bacteria, we cannot be certain it will remove this toxin. Therefore, we cannot recommend using the Berkey Elements to filter water contaminated with Microcystin.

If a Berkey Water Filter can't make it fit to drink I wonder how it ever will every be fit to drink! Berkeys are used to make good drinkable water by many people working in third world hell holes were passable water is what we would call sludge. Looks to me that the excrement has collided with the rotating air circulator!

Gov. Kasich is up for re-election this year. You just know the way he handles this water shortage will be judged very harshly by his opponent, an Ed Fitzgerald. This water shortage is not necessarily the Governors’ fault. The over-fertilization of local water has been going on unabated for years. I recall in 1974 when I heard that Lake Erie in Ohio had actually caught on fire, so thick it had become with sludge and discarded fuel residues.

I live in the first non-effected city next to Toledo. By morning all of our water was bought up, along with Findlay’s water which is about 50 miles South of Toledo. Friends are scarping the bottoms of ice bins in my (safe water) city to get water to drink. You can’t boil it as it gets more concentrated.

The average person uses 100 gallons of water a day:

The following are examples of how people use water found on the USGS government website:
http://water.usgs.gov/edu/qa-home-percapita.html

Bath A full tub is about 36 gallons.
Shower 2-2.5 gallons per minute. Old shower heads use as much as 4 gallons per minute.
Teeth brushing <1 gallon, especially if water is turned off while brushing. Newer bath faucets use about 1 gallon per minute, whereas older models use over 2 gallons.
Hands/face washing 1 gallon
Face/leg shaving 1 gallon
Dishwasher 20 gallons/load, depending of efficiency of dishwasher
Dishwashing by hand: 4 gallons/minute for old faucets.. Newer kitchen faucets use about 1-2 gallons per minutes.
Clothes washer 25 gallons/load for newer washers. Older models use about 40 gallons per load.
Toilet flush 3 gallons for older models. Most all new toilets use 1.2-1.6 gallons per flush.
Glasses of water drunk 8 oz. per glass (did you remember to drink your 8 glasses of water today?)
Outdoor watering 2 gallons per minute

There are 30 MILLION + illegal aliens in the US

so.... 30,000,000 X 100 gallons = 3 billion gallons of fresh water consumed per DAY by illegal aliens (at a minimum)

365 days in a year X 3 billion = 1.095 TRILLION gallons of water a year.

The fascist pro corporate philosophy is coming to you. As an example I and many others have good well water that we treat and filter. It is there when we need it without government chemicals being added.

Big utilities that own our local pols now want us to give up our private well water and spend lots of money to connect and make them richer. They can then own the aquifer and sell it back to us. No thanks.

Freedom, what’s that? Americans need to wake up that the corruption by the corporatist few is stripping us of freedom.

A good case for going organic. It was good enough for our Founders.
