Ebola conspiracy theories spreading fast as outbreak travels round globe - was deadly virus created in laboratory?
Conspiracy theories about Ebola are spreading as fast as the killer virus itself.
And with no known cure or vaccine, its potential origins vary wildly from it being a CIA-manufactured weapon to a cover for "cannibalistic rituals."
Angry crowds in Africa have also accused foreigners of bringing the virus into the country.
In April, the threat of violence forced Medecins Sans Frontieres to evacuate all its staff from a treatment centre in Guinea.
In Sierra Leone, which has the largest number of Ebola cases, thousands protested outside the country's main Ebola treatment facility in the eastern city of Kenema, where police had to disperse the crowd with tear gas.
Reports say the demonstration was sparked by a rumour from a nearby market that the disease was a ruse used to justify "cannibalistic rituals" being carried out in the hospital.

Well, AIDS likely was. But Ebola I don’t think so, probably just living in the deep jungle somewhere, somebody stumbled on it and brought it back to civilization.
Crack, Heroin, Ebola, AIDS....
Damned CIA
If only they were that competent...
It is already an epidemic. It is unbelievable that health professionals would bring it into the US.
You left out New Coke.
But until they brought it here, the conspiracy theories were purt'near all there...
Ebola virus: British aid worker's diary reveals horror as SIX nurses die from killer bug
“Day 4 - I feel weve reached a tipping point. When I arrived in Liberia four weeks ago, there were four or five patients in the treatment centre. Now the centre is overflowing, we dont know where to put people, the morgue is full, people are turning up with sick relatives.”

These reports on the ground are starting to sound a little...medieval.
Look back at the 1918 flu episode. Once you got to the point where hundreds in a hospital had the flu and needed constant round-the-clock attention, it was past the tipping point. The system was unable to handle it....people started to stay at home (thinking relatives would help them through it), and the rest is history.
The plague in London (1666) had similar stories. There are a fair number of people who got the plague....quickly went through a fever...and survived. To this day...no one can explain how they did it.
Another designer method of the CIA to kill negros?
Like Aids, Crack, Etc??
“Another designer method of the CIA to kill negros?”
Don’t forget the diabolical Bush administration ... the deadly silent dynamite used on the levee system in N’awlins with Hurricane Katrina as the cover story.
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I don't add you to the list...
Yeah Artie you are right also i forgot Maggie Sangers method of negro control, abortion.
Just last year Canada had an employee steal Ebola DNA from one of their labs...Canada, Province of Manitoba, National Microbiology Laboratory, Winnipeg
Vials swiped from Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory contained small amounts of genetic material from the Ebola virus. But Dr. Frank Plummer, head of the Winnipeg lab, says the Ebola gene posed no risk of infection and could only have been used to make a vaccine. Konan Michel Yao, 42, was caught trying to sneak 22 vials across the Manitoba-North Dakota border last week. Plummer says the missing vials went unnoticed because there are tens of thousands of them with non-infectious material in the laboratory’s refrigerators and freezers
Just last year the bio-lab in Texas “lost” vials. Monday, March 25, 2013
The Galveston National Laboratory lost one of five vials containing a deadly Venezuelan virus, according to the University of Texas Medical Branch, which owns the $174 million facility designed with the strictest security measures to hold the deadliest viruses in the country.
Like Ebola, the missing Guanarito virus causes hemorrhagic fever, an illness named for “bleeding under the skin, in internal organs or from body orifices like the mouth, eyes, or ears,” according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Keep in mind Ebola-Reston while it appeared to be not a human threat at the time, it did appear to act like an airborne virus. No one knows if it was ever confirmed to be truly airborne? Only the top-secret guys know.
Also consider all the recent reports of lost deadly diseases out of the CDC and yeah ...I think there is a perfect disease deadly storm brewing. I think this is why they brought those two people back, this is a designer disease outbreak and they need to figure out where it got out from, if it is one of ours, if it is someone else’s, or if potentially a terrorist operation has stumbled onto something, or if it is from fallen war stock-pile that was missed.
Fifty healthcare workers have died so far and the CDC just sent 50 more Americans there to help.
Excellent point.
What’s holding back Africa?
Maybe in twenty-one days we will know.
Yeah....this is the same group that tried to kill Castro with loaded cigars or tried to discredit him by using a powder to make his beard fall off his face.
No doubt the CIA had some successes but its still a clown act compared to MI6.
