U.S. doctor quarantines himself at home after treating Ebola patients in Liberia
CNN ^ | Aug 3, 2014 | Faith Karimi and Joe Sutton,

A retired American doctor who was working with Ebola patients in West Africa returned to the United States -- and put himself in quarantine.

MTI declined to discuss details of how Jamison traveled back to the United States, including whether he was on a commercial flight.

Jamison, 69, said he's had no symptoms of the deadly virus, but has been in seclusion since he returned to his hometown of Morristown, Tennessee.

The father of three said his daughter picked him up from the airport and dropped him at home, where he's quarantined himself and has had no contact with anyone since.

He plans to be in isolation for 21 days, which is the incubation period for the disease -- or the time between infection and onset of symptoms.

The fact that this didn’t get identified or discovered until the mid-1970s....leads me to think that this was a lab experiment conducted in central Africa in the 1960s, which got out of hand. They probably already have a serum but probably admit it only works fifty percent of the time and costs $40,000 per application.

It IS becoming hard to believe that there is not “something” afoot, isn’t it. The only fly in the ointment, so to speak, is that we all know that gov screws up every thing it touches. It would be poetic if all the elites were effected and the normal proles went unscathed. Never forget, God has a sense of humor, and Karma is a bitch.

Yes and now the left can say ebola killing all those Americans is the fault of Billy Graham and his missionaries.
Billy’s son Franklin is just another clueless hillbilly Christian from North Carolina.
Can’t you see it?

I think that is a good. He should have isolated himself over there before coming home.

If the elites can feel safe somehow, I believe they would have no problem with a total outbreak reducing population by 50-80%. The only question is their preparations, and do they have a vaccine or cure?

Considering they are trying to INCREASE the population of the US by as much and as fast as they can, it makes no sense they would us ebola to reduce it.

I am aware of that media description, but it hardly describes the actual conditions of the hell they are working and living in and the status of the gear that they use, etc, etc.in the African front lines.

This article is a reminder of what they are dealing with over there, compared to our standards, capabilities, and fresh protective gear and isolation etc.

Why should they bother saying when half of the people on these threads are already saying it?

Man up, we can handle treating a sick American doctor, that got ill overseas serving as a Christian missionary to the sick.

Can we trust the CDC to tell the truth or will they spin lies until the truth is self evident ?

Since the virus requires only 1 to 10 virons to cause the disease . The patients are probably contagious early in the symptomatic phase.

Pure stupidity to even come back and THEN quarantine yourself especially after coming into contact with hundreds of people. Stupid.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Keep mind that Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, etc all signed orders with the same powers.

Just wanted to go along with not being an alarmist.

Calm down people.
