A Brooklyn reader sent us this video tonight, apparently showing two female NYPD officers attempting -- and I use the term loosely -- to make an arrest of a man who may or may not have committed assault. We have still trying to corroborate the details of the arrest with our NYPD sources, but that is most certainly not what will be discussed online.
We have heard for years about fitness tests requirements being diluted for NYPD recruits, and with the new leftist mayor Bill DeBlasio now permitting two females to be partners (previously a female had to be partnered with a male), one wonders how frequently this sort of embarrassing mismatch with occur. And whether or not this perp did anything wrong, some truly dangerous criminal will surely escape the grasp of such pathetic officers as this in the future.

Unless that dude killed or seriously injured someone, I’d vote not guilty just because of the incompetent cops. I would sure not convict for resisting arrest or eluding a police officer.

The point of this whole thread is not simply that the women can't take this guy down, but that they have been culturally conditioned to believe they can.
No, I think the point is more that society has let itself be convinced by a bunch of male hating lefties that women are equal physical substitutes for men in all or even most situations. They are not. I wasn’t claiming they are, nor does my daughter.
My daughter happens to be at the opposite end of the bell curve from those two ninnies in the video. However, even if every woman that was hired as a cop measured up to her capabilities, I would never suggest that partners should both be women.
I am saying that if society could remove its collective head from it ass, we wouldn’t be seeing atrocities like that video. That guy wasn’t even fighting them, he was just trying to run away.

I don’t believe she actually had to do that. But based on what she was required to do in training as preparation for that, yes, I think she could take down an “uncooperative” drunk considerably larger than she most of the time.
But it doesn’t matter. I mostly wanted to see how many would fixate on that comment alone and nothing else. I found out.

4 female cops killed in 2013 out of 150 total cops killed.
That’s just under 3%. Females represent 12% of cops nationwide.
During the reporting period I looked at, some 700 cops killed in NYC (includes 9-11 (72). 1,675 were killed in Texas during the same time period.
We had one (sheriff’s deputy) here in Central Texas kidnapped, tied to a bridge abbuttment, stripped, beaten severely and raped a few years back. He also took her weapon. Why a sane woman would want to subject herself to these possibilities is beyond me.
Not to say it couldn't happen to a male officer, but at least he would have a chance.
When the perp is bigger than you and he isn't using deadly force but won't cooperate... ZAP!

Yeah, usually female cops (and there are some great ones) don’t take any guff and pull out the taser or the mace right away. Smart ones know their limitations.
