Ferguson, Missouri (KMOV.com) – What started as a peaceful prayer vigil Saturday evening to remember a young man gunned down by police, has escalated into full scale riots and looting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Angry mobs have smashed windows, set fires and looted businesses as a massive showing of police, some wearing riot gear have moved into the area along West Florissant just south of 270.
Police are also responding to reports of shootings throughout the area. At one point, windows of a News 4 live truck were smashed out by the angry crowd.

St Louis city not in SL county. County is 500 square miles and a milion pop. has an amazing 90 municipal govs. Ferguson is 70 per cent black. Home to Emerson Electric. County has gone for Dem President since 92 election. Figures.

Why aren’t the authorities issuing a shoot-to-kill order for all rioters and looters in order to stop this?

Because they’d have an even bigger riot if another ‘promising young man’ gets shot.

Per TWitter,Scanner, and Reddit, Rioters are allegedly looting homes. Any residents in the area must stay cautious and prepare for any attack.
It’s because the police don’t do that that these people ARE doing this. Lawlessness is expected when you strap the arms of the police.
Had to look that up on the online maps. It seems as if the looters have moved a bit north.
