Nearly a week after a police officer shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., police on Friday identified the officer as Darren Wilson.

Wilson is a six-year veteran of the Ferguson police with no disciplinary record, Ferguson police chief Thomas Jackson said at a news conference on Friday morning.

Jackson provided few other details about Wilson at the news conference and did not take any questions. He said that Wilson had been responding to a call shortly before noon on Saturday when there was a 911 call regarding a “strong-arm robbery” at a convenience store.

A description of a possible suspect was given over the radio, saying this person was walking toward the QuickTrip convenience store in Ferguson. An incident report handed out by police on Friday labeled Brown as a suspect in the convenience store robbery, which involved the theft of some Swisher Sweets cigars.

Wilson left the call he had been responding to and encountered Brown on Canfield Drive at 12:01 p.m., Jackson said.

Police also released these stills depicting a confrontation between Brown and a convenience store worker:

Another monstrous black “teenager” assaulting a small guy. Go look at the pics on the web site.

I see a big, black guy. Other than that, it’s impossible to make out who it is. There are lots of big, black guys.

The officer is BLACK.

From now on he'll be described as a White Black.

The officer is BLACK.

Which makes him a race traitor Uncle Tom. No “real” black would ever be a cop.

Not so gentle and most likely a stoner. The reason the Swisher Sweets are popular with the punk crowd is that’s a favorite brand to mix with weed. They either dump out or slit the wrap to get to the factory tobacco, mix it with weed to give more flavor, then “reload” the mix back into the Sweet. It’s remarkable that our stoners are too freeking lazy to roll their own-—they now like to start with a factory tiparello or the like and reload it. Part of it is looking cool with the longer stick so that maybe you won’t get busted if you look “high brow.” I’m guessing the toxic tests will show Brownie was already stoned. The stuff he pulled was too stupid to be done sober even if he was on his way to be a frat boy. And by the way-—I want to see some poof ( Lanny Davis) that he was on his way to school?

No, the officer isn’t black. There are two officers with the same name. The shooter isn’t the black officer.

For those of you not familiar with modern ghetto customs, there is only one purpose that “Swisher Sweets” are used for by young people nowadays. They cut them open, dump out the tobacco, and fill them with marijuana to make “blunts” - marijuana cigars.
Makes sense. Swishers are much cheaper than Macanudos, Punch, Perdomo, etc. This shows that Brown had some good business acumen, he knew how to maximize profits. /s

My personal opinion is that Brown was strung out on meth or drank and was looking to smoke some blunts to mellow out and take the edge off his meth high.

The talk of heading off to college was a bit of an overstatement.

Brown was going to a local trade school to learn to be a Heating and Cooling Tech, which is a very worthy and admirable pursuit to say the least, but the media played this up to sound like he some Horatio Alger type figure who overcame adversity and was heading off to some Ivy Leagues College only to his life tragically cut short by a racist rabid dog cop out to kill a brother.

And he was perfectly within his rights to walk out of the store without paying for them because he never really intended to actually smoke them, he just wanted the wrapping to roll a huge joint

Take a look at this picture:

And check out this Link

This cop has drawn down on some motorcycle riders. They are mostly, if not all, white.

He is now the guy running things in Ferguson, everyone’s praising him for being a peacemaker—and he is from Ferguson originally.

Current head of Ferguson media police PR:

Captain Ron Johnson, Missouri State Highway Patrol: taking aim at “Ride of the Century” bikers in St. Louis, disobeying traffic law a couple of years ago.

Highway Patrol are state troopers.

White boys running amok on the highway, it’s okay for black officer to draw a gun on them.

Black people running amok in businesses & neighborhood, and same black officer is sent in to apologize for PD.

We’ll ... We’re not surprised. People walk on tip toes when there’s a threat of being called a racist.

Johnson isn’t on tip toes.

Oh that’s right, it’s not racist unless the “bad” guy is white.

Per the police chief, the robbery was not related to Officer Wilson’s initial contact with Mike Brown.

Is there a link for this? Did the police chief give a reason why the officer made "contact" with Mike Brown?

He said Officer Wilson stopped them because they were walking in the middle of the street.

The reason has been posted many times since day one.

There are several threads on this subject, do a search and you will find a lot of answers.

Thanks. The robbery was the reason Officer Wilson was on the scene. I assumed he stopped Michael Brown because he was suspected in the robbery or was close enough to be a witness.

Wow. I read about this on the FB page. This guy was pointing his gun at traffic violators.

Maybe he felt safe enough to draw his weapon on these people b/c they weren’t going to shoot back?

CNN reporting the officer is white. Makes me question why the media has not jumped all over “white cop kills unarmed black honor student”. Makes no sense that no one has mentioned the officer’s race.

“Brown was African-American; Wilson is white”.

But he could also be as white as Zimmerman was. LOL.
