CDC whistleblower makes statement regarding cover up of relationship of MMR and autism
Morgan Verkamp ^ | 8/27/14 | William Thompson

Posted on 08/28/2014 8:24:02 AM PDT by mgist

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE-AUGUST 27,2014

STATEMENT OF WILLIAM W. THOMPSON, Ph.D., REGARDING THE 2004 ARTICLE EXAMINING THE POSSIBILITY OF A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MMR VACCINE AND AUTISM

My name is William Thompson. I am a Senior Scientist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where I have worked since 1998.

I regret that my coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics. The omitted data suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism. Decisions were made regarding which findings to report after the data were collected, and I believe that the final study protocol was not followed.

I want to be absolutely clear that I believe vaccines have saved and continue to save countless lives. I would never suggest that any parent avoid vaccinating children of any race. Vaccines prevent serious diseases, and the risks associated with their administration are vastly outweighed by their individual and societal benefits.

My concern has been the decision to omit relevant findings in a particular study for a particular sub group for a particular vaccine. There have always been recognized risks for vaccination and I believe it is the responsibility of the CDC to properly convey the risks associated with receipt of those vaccines.

I have had many discussions with Dr. Brian Hooker over the last 10 months regarding studies the CDC has carried out regarding vaccines and neurodevelopmental outcomes including autism spectrum disorders. I share his beliefthat CDC decision-making and analyses should be transparent. I was not, however, aware that he was recording any of our conversations, nor was I given any choice regarding whether my name would be made public or my voice would be put on the Internet.

I am grateful for the many supportive e-mails that I have received over the last several days. I will not be answering further questions at this time. I am providing information to Congressman William Posey, and of course will continue to cooperate with Congress. I have also offered to assist with reanalysis of the study data or development of further studies. For the time being, however, I am focused on my job and my family.

Reasonable scientists can and do differ in their interpretation of information. I will do everything I can to assist any unbiased and objective scientists inside or outside the CDC to analyze data collected by the CDC or other public organizations for the purpose of understanding whether vaccines are associated with an increased risk of autism. There are still more questions than answers, and I appreciate that so many families are looking for answers from the scientific community.

My colleagues and supervisors at the CDC have been entirely professional since this matter became public. In fact, I received a performance-based award after this story came out. I have experienced no pressure or retaliation and certainly was not escorted from the building, as some have stated.

Dr. Thompson is represented by Frederick M. Morgan,Jr., Morgan Verkamp, LLC, Cincinnati, Ohio, www.morganverkamp.com.

I am a mother, and I get the creepiest feeling every time I have to vaccinate my children. I have no idea what the substances contain, the quality control of the manufacturers, if the nurses are sane, or what the risks are.

I simply know all Federal Agencies are corrupt, and at least 10% of the population are sociopaths. It is really insane to be forced by the government to inject your children, if you think about it.

My doctor almost forced me to inject Guardasil in my 11 year old for “preventing” some form of venereal disease. I had to tell him NO 6 times. Wth? Why? He even told me that they won’t have my children as patients, if I don’t vaccinate them on schedule. At least this one isn’t documenting the guns in my home.

It is too much to ask parents to blindly allow strangers to inject their children with whatever substances, blindly accepting that it is good for them. People are flawed and imperfect, that’s ok. Mandating that people accept what other people do to their bodies is NOT ok, in my opinion.

Then home school your kids and nobody will care if you don’t vaccinate them.

If it ever becomes generally accepted that medical studies are covered up, unsubstantiated, misreported, that studies are skewed, that the AMA is pro abort and that medicine in this country is funded by the government, in addition to the insurance industry, and largely exists only as a part of the pharmaceutical industry which has NOTHING to do with true health, then people will stop making fun of people who are wary of autism, which OBVIOUSLY has an environmental cause.

It is so obvious that the high incidence of autism and autism spectrum conditions that mothers are silly to not consider what might be causing it and to avoid suspected offending items

Because these people, like this guy, certainly are not telling mothers why any given 50 year old woman has among ten percent of her community kids with autism. Boys.

And that these 50 year old women grew up in the baby boom when kids ran the neighborhood and there was no ten percent of that community of children with autism.

The medical industry thinks they can fool us, and they can, as women roam around their little circles of work home marriage, paying little real attention to any particular thing, just feeding the mortgage, stuff and taxes.

But on vaccinating mine, I did research. The best I could come up with was to insist, accompanying the kids in the nursery, in fact, that certain vaccinations not be given, postponing during a meet with the prospective reluctant arrogant condescending pediatrician who expected full control over the kids’ medical treatment.

The germans, at the time, gave certain vaccines much later in life, and the Japanese as well. Additionally, they space their vaccines out. No five to seven meds at once. That’s insane, and unnecessary. The germans and Japanese are very preventive in their approach.

We went with that.

I don’t trust these guys to tell us what’s going on. Why should I?

Under an entry in a nurse textbook, it states Breast Cancer, leading cause of death for women of a twenty year age range.

Cause: unknown.

Women accept this. They think they are smart, but they are not doing their job: taking care of their families and themselves, taking health as their responsibility.

any one can google and find out that abortion causes breast cancer 44% chance of breast cancer after one abortion. It goes up to 89% for three abortions.

It is instructive not for people contemplating an abortive lifestyle, whether or not to have extramarital intimacy with some idiot who wants to have sex but has no interest in the woman, their kids nor any kind of responsibility, but it shows how the media and the medical community won’t say what is really going on.

When one does a simple search on birth control pills, one can find out in very real terms that they are as risky for developing cancer as are cigarettes.

No one talks about that.

In the nursing text book one of ten risk factors listed way down on the arbitrarily organized list is: Estrogen Therapy.
that’s birth control.

So, yes, vaccines we do not know the whole story

The doctor in this piece says, we lied about vaccines, and they are risky, but take them, because they’re worth it, but they are not risky, well, not as risky. I’m just writing this because I feel guilty, don’t sue me, and just move along, and get your vaccines.

That’s not confusing at all...whew.

Er.... I do not show a William W. Thompson (Senior Scientist) on the CDC email. I have access to everyone, including Thomas Friedman, and even at one time Mikhail Gorbechev (who was listed in our email directory for unknown reasons.)

I do show a William Thompson, but there is a different middle name and this person is not a Senior Scientist.

Nor is he a discharged or terminated employee. This article, dated today, states he is still employed at the CDC. Even if he wasn’t, the email entries stay around for quite some time. You’ll just get bounced mail if you try to send there.

This article is a hoax.

Six times. Doctors are in an industry which is so overbearing. WE pretend they don’t want obamacare.

Look around. My child’s doctor is a guy from our religious community.

He works with us.

I invite you to read this:

http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/Concerns/Autism/cdc2004pediatrics.html

Please pay special attention to this paragraph

“Additional studies and a more recent rigorous review by the Institute of Medicine have found that MMR vaccine does not increase the risk of autism.”

not true. Some pediatrician offices will discharge patients who do not comply with full vaccination schedule.

I homeschooled my kids, but when they were little, they wanted to go to preschool where all the nice kids were, the three year olds that were home with mom happened to be terrors.

so we got all the vaccinations. I spread them out time wise, some research says that the bombardment might be the culprit, not to mention the additives.

Any mother who does not freak out on vaccinating their kid, and who doesn’t hover for a few days after is blind to the fact that autism is epidemic and its causes are covered up, and to the fact that the medical community has been allowed to take charge of our health and that is NOT good.

In recent years the veterinary profession has completely stood on its head their old vaccination protocol for dogs and cats. They've found a clear association between over-vaccination and serious illnesses, including autoimmune conditions and cancers. Reputable vets now go very lightly on the vaccination schedule.

From my perspective, there's also the risk, when vaccinating, of diverting the immune system at a critical time, when it's busy protecting the body from some imminent threat.

What is not a hoax, and what they still need to explain or to announce a study on, is why autism is suddenly prevalent.

And if you say it is not prevalent, or that it is not environmental, you will continue to get nowhere with those who will not accept that lie.

Has the CDC denied that he is or was employed?

Last I heard their denial of this consisted of simply reposting the study in question and stating they stood behind it.

“It is too much to ask parents to blindly allow strangers to inject their children with whatever substances, blindly accepting that it is good for them.”

Back in the good old 1950's, the gubmint would line up thousands of us kids for vaccinations, and us boomers turned out OK, didn't we, didn't we?? (sarcasm)

I was reading just yesterday in an article from Lifesite on the incidence of breast CA from abortion, and it is 44% for one abortion. THe article sated that the Nat’l Institute for Health is as corrupt as the IRS.

You tell us why a government health agency is to be trusted beyond the IRS and congress which has a 12% approval rating, and then we can discuss their worthless reporting.

I’ve done some more digging, there is in fact a William W. Thompson, PhD, who has written about autism and vaccinations, but I have as of yet not found proof that he was affiliated with the CDC. He may have been a Senior Fellow, which is not an employee but kind of a ‘guest scientist’. I just don’t know.

No, we boomers did not turn out Okay, sarcasm notwithstanding.

We are leaving our kids with debt out of control and an open borders country run by a man with no past and no relations no parenting.

That being said, it was polio and small pox.

You go into any pediatrics office now, no, go to a newborn nursery and watch them stick that poor newborn who just wants his mom and has been ripped away from her for at least a four hour period, so completely stressed out, you wouldn’t separate a screaming 7 year old from his mom, ant watch them stick that kid with five different meds. Hep B, Vit K, DPT, MMR,

If those solutions are not loaded with toxins disguised as preservatives, it is over LOAD of all systems, particularly immune.

There are many factors that fuel the rise of ANY diagnosable disease. Most prominent are two....First , expand the definition of the disease( which has expanded greatly eg Asperger Syndrome, almost any developmental disorder) and MOST importantly government funding for special services for any and every child that has an aggressive parent AND is willing to game the system.

I believe that if government funds were magically cut, the diagnosis would be more than halved in two years.

“Some pediatrician offices will discharge patients who do not comply with full vaccination schedule.”

So? It’s a free country, they are free to choose to do that.

Find another pediatrician, I’m sure there are some who will take your money. After all, your kids may be more frequent customers if they aren’t vaccinated.
