Michael Brown’s Size Doesn’t Matter

You want to believe Brown was running away when he was shot. So you think cops who see kids running away after they tell them to quit walking down the middle of the street always take out their gun and shoot the kid? How many of those types of shootings do you know of? I'm certainly for prosecuting any leo who would do such a thing.

But what do you think the chances are (since autopsies proves Brown was facing Wilson and not shot in the back) that Brown was actually charging the cop after initially assaulting him? I would think the latter was far more likely than the former.

This racist skunk closes by saying his thug was shot while attacking his victim (my words) from 30 feet away. Really? His thug must have long arms to crush the side of his victims face from so far away.

No I do not think he was walking away when he was shot, I think he was running away when the cop jumped out and yelled stop and pointed his gun at Mikey.

Mikey, amused and taunting turns around and says “you won’t shoot me.”

Cop does shoot at him and Mikey starts running towards the cop which causes cop to unload.

So, what I think is that the cop should have called for backup first.

This author is scary. His words are not helping the situation. If you interchanged Black and White in his article he would be dead by now, no matter what his color was. If he hadn’t have been killed, the press would have a label for him, reduced him to a racist white Klansman, who burns crosses for fun. He was not an 18-year-old teenager, but a man-sized Black male 6’4” tall and well over 250 pounds was a threat to public safety. In other words: a “thug”

Size doesn't make you a thug, racism doesn't make you a thug.

Your attitude makes you a thug. Your actions make you a thug.

When you rob a convenience store and rough up the clerk, that makes you a thug.

When you attack a cop and try to take his gun, that makes you a thug.

When you write violent racist rap songs, and live your life the same way, that makes you a thug.

If someone assaults me I cannot predict exactly what they intend, how far they are willing to go. They might stop with a couple of punches, but they might not.

So, what I think is that the cop should have called for backup first.

So let's see - from accounts I have seen posted here, a cop just dealt with a guy crazy enough to assault him in his own cruiser and go for his gun, and he should just let the crazy 300 pound thug go without trying to stop him? That was his SECOND assault for the day, and a much more violent and crazy one than the first. If Wilson would have just let Brown go, there is no telling what might have happened next further down the street.

Oh, and by the way, Holder's DOJ asked the Ferguson PD to not release the video but media FOIA requests pried it out. Your conspiracy theories leak pretty badly once they get poked at with facts. I bet you swallowed that CNN ten shot soundtrack hook, line and sinker when it came out as well.

Racists like the guy who wrote this garbage - Lee A. Daniels - would be the first to scream about a 'pro-lineman size white cop' beating up a black person - as 'unfair' because of size. And if that happened - most of us would agree with him. Our principles extend to 'right and wrong' not just 'tint on skin' - the obvious extend of Daniels principles...

Lee A Daniels fails to comment on gangs of street blacks beating up a randomly selected small victims in 'the knockout' game - played against whites, Hispanics, Asians and Jews... Then he wonders why no other races want to live with blacks... yeah, it's a mystery all right...

Daniels will act the part of a professional victim and crybaby until he and 8 metaphorical thug friends find a wounded conservative vet or small pregnant Asian woman to beat up in their version of a writer's knockout game.
