Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is in a behind-the-scenes struggle with the White House, congressional Democrats and Washington insiders who have lost confidence in her as both a unifying leader and reliable party spokesperson at a time when they need her most.
Long-simmering doubts about her have reached a peak after two recent public flubs: criticizing the White House’s handling of the border crisis and comparing the tea party to wife beaters.
....One example that sources point to as particularly troubling: Wasserman Schultz repeatedly trying to get the DNC to cover the costs of her wardrobe.
In 2012, Wasserman Schultz attempted to get the DNC to pay for her clothing at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, multiple sources say, but was blocked by staff in the committee’s Capitol Hill headquarters and at President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign headquarters in Chicago.

“You need another picture, Debbie?” Obama tends to say, according to people who’ve been there for the encounters.

I think I would ask the better question here....if the interior of the White House is picking and choosing....who exactly is “better” for them than Debbie? This really stretches the mind to see how they’d find some agreeable person who the White House likes, but actually motivates the remaining members of the House/Senate.
If the clothing discussion was occurring, as reported....it makes Debbie look pretty stupid.

Her mistake is letting on in public what all ruling class dems believe—that the average American is a lowly, uneducated, thug. Obama let it slip when he talked about us as clinging to God and guns.

HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE: Immigration reform has become so toxic among Democrats, that Senators demanded hot sauce bottles be removed from Senate cafeteria tables so as not be reminded that they voted for reform.
Nobody knows who---but some wise-guy put a cucaracha in Sen Schumer's bean soup.
And when Schumer ordered a taco, the stale taco shell was willfully broken in half---carne assade spiced w/ habanero peppers spilled all over Schumer's pants.
Schumer had to seek emergency medical treatment for painful crotch burn.
Might be a bit much getting the DNC to pay for her outfits, but the least the DNC could do is take care of that greasy hair!

The job title is “Chairman”
It is a term that applies to any person, male or female, who holds the position.
