A good old friend of mine is a viable candidate for the House in Kansas. I'd like to direct fellow FReepers to him and his Facebook page -

I've known him since the 1980s - he's the real deal and worthy of your vote and support.

Lawrence is known to be one of the more liberal areas of our state. I wish him well and good luck.

Yikes. District #46 is one of the premier moonbat White seats in KS, the one that sent Troy Findley (Sebelius’ last Lt Governor) and currently sends the ultraleftist Paul Davis, running against Gov. Brownback. He will need a lot of luck to say the least.

Doug is a sharp guy who doesn’t let the liberal elite in Lawrence talk him into a corner with their talking point ideology and and religiously liberal dogma. He needs and deserves all the support he can get, so head on over to his facebook page and join in the conversation and give him a like.
Looking at our campaigns

No Republican has bothered to run for the seat since 2000 (29%)!
It was “close” in 1994, Findley won 49%-41% with 10% for a Libertarian.
The rat running is named Dennis “Boog” Highberger, that name gives me some hope. ;d
Our campaigns doesn’t have Robinson (or a general election) listed for this race. With the members frozen out is the site owner left to do all the updating himself?
Well, at least you have someone to vote for. All of our “worst districts” will remain the worst until we work, support and pray to change them over.
Not my district. I’m in Nashville. No Republican has been elected to my state legislative district since (probably) the 1860s or early 1870s (if that).
Should be “Borg.” You will be assimilated into the Stalinist hive. Lawrence needs an enema.
THIS IS OUR YEAR!!! :)
