The debate almost immediately turned animated with wild answers and interactions coming from the colorful group of candidates. From introductions to closing statements, the debate was filled with flamboyant, uninhabited and sometimes downright confusing statements that even brought laughter to the audience. Republican Scott Milne introduced himself as ‘third generation, born in Vermont’ but then quickly corrected himself because he was in fact born in Brooklyn, NY. Another highlight included Independent candidate Cris Ericson suggesting that citizens of Vermont who are on food stamps may want to use their food stamps to purchase lottery tickets in order to purchase the foods they cannot afford.

Uninhibited is the word they are looking for, but “uninhabited” might be accurate also - for both the candidates and the writers.

Was this a comedy show or was this for real? Vermont is a beautiful state but it appear to be populated by loons and buffoons.

Dear old Vermont is an embarrassment these days...

The type of bizzare, granola-nut, kooky far-left, enviro-themed communist BS that would be satire in most other states exists in Vermont.

The loons and buffoons all gravitate to politics in this state because the conservatives are to busy working and paying taxes to run for office. The elite Cambridge and Brooklyn (Bernie) with their trust funds are the only ones with the time to run for office.

Then the granola crunchie offspring that infest Burlington get to choose. Not enough votes in the rest of the state to offset that voting block. Hence we get Shumlin and an 85% prog legislature.

And you thought your state has crazy political candidates. Viewing the short video clip will make you feel much better on balance.

Wow. They have some real “winners” up there in Vermont. Where’s Rod Serling and The Twilight Zone when you need him? Or maybe that’s Pee Wee Herman’s Big Adventure I’m thinking about? Or was that Dumb and Dumber?

100,000 normal Conservatives moving into Vermont could turn the state straight again.
