The Establishment Almost Had Me
freedomoutpost.com ^ | 10/24/14

Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter almost had me convinced the other night. They almost had me. I think even Mark Levin hinted at it.

Elect Republicans, any republican, to stop Obama's agenda and get rid of Harry Reid.

Ann Coulter was so animated over it that I thought she was going to melt down. She was visibly and mockingly furious with anyone stupid enough not to vote for those like Mitch McConnell, or her love, as she describes him, Scott Brown. All the republicans she is pushing are Chamber of Commerce, big government hacks.

Anyway, this seems to be the refrain from the right, not just from the establishment, but also from conservatives. We must halt the Obama surge and throw out Harry Reid, so let's hold our collective noses once again and pull the lever.

And then what? And then no one has an answer because there is no answer, and they will not allow that question to be asked.

So, I guess I'll ask it again. And then what? Republicans take control of the House and Senate and then what?

Let me also answer that. Nothing gets done. At least nothing we want. Nothing gets slowed down or stalled. Nothing gets repealed. And why? Well, they already have a built in excuse for that. Now they need the presidency in 2016 to really get things done.

I’m doing good.
Been stalking deer.
Just myself and God.
Don’t get any better than that.

Actually walked 5 or 6 miles, and busted a bunch of
laurel which is pretty good for my old knees, didn’t
fall down once.
No deer, but it’s early yet.
Lots of acorns this year here in N.Georgia.
How you?

The ONLY reason liberalism is finding success is because there is no opposition to it.

Wake up.

So no one should vote? Yeah, that will bring about real hope and change.

Everything you state is absolutely correct I cannot argue any point. All I will say is the media has made conservatives out to be extremists and I believe after having this loon in office the general voting public is tired of so called extremists..what we’d call solid conservatism the media will not....knowing this and knowing pushing too hard on any one side won’t do it then slowly chip away. Trying an all hands all in approach I don’t think can do right now. I could be wrong but this is just a feeling.

Who said no one should vote? Rather, one should always vote, and vote for one's principles. Real change will only come from Conservatives. If one is voting otherwise, one is part of the problem.

Many on here wouldn’t support Scott Brown. Senator Jeff Sessions is asking people to support him. He knows how important it is.

I’ve seen several on here say they wouldn’t support Pat Roberts - R _ Kansas. Pat Roberts has a very conservative record.

>>It’s absolutely IDIOTIC to claim there is no difference between the parties. <<

They are joined at the shoulder and the hip. The one and only difference between them is the path to take to get to their destination which is a One World Government. The Republicans don’t do anything about defeating the EPA or Agenda 21. They both want to bring in all the Mexican illegal aliens they possibly can. Neither party wants to build a fence on the border. Neither one did anything to stop the inflow of Muslims and their half dozen wives on welfare. Nobody does anything about taxes except raise them. There is no difference between the parties.

I don't give a crap what anybody says. I got sick of weasel-words when the entire talking head brigade came out pimping for Mccaint, not to mention again for Romney. Not a single one of them has any credibility at all.

I can make up my own mind.

And so can I. You’re the one that posted to me to “Wake Up.” I am wide awake.

If you’ve got a better alternative right now, I would be interested. You haven’t shown me so I WILL BE VOTING AGAINST EXTREMIST DEMOCRATS (all of them) AND OBAMA’S AGENDA.

How am I to know what is in your area? That's YOUR job. Spend the next week going over all of your candidates and prepare to vote for the Conservative ones.

It is impossible to vote AGAINST anything. What you will be doing is voting *FOR* something. Your vote is your endorsement.

My decision will be easy. I will be voting for Senator Jeff Sessions and the republican ticket in Alabama.

There will be more continuing resolutions and raising of the debt ceiling. Not one dime will be actually cut. They are so scared to “shut down the government” when everyone knows it’s out of control. They freaked out over the sequester and Ted Cruz filibustering the funding of ACA.

But we “have to give them the Senate” we are told.

That's right - throw in the towel now and take a dose of poison to put yourself out of your misery. You have already given up but aren't thinking clear enough to realize it. You are part of the reason why the Dims keep gaining ground - if you can't have it all, you won't take what's available.

How about doing something that others who think like you cannot/will not do - explain how your thinking can be turned into a winning game plan.

I agree and it appears there are a number here again this election. It is very sad to see the same crap election after election while the same few look for perfection. Perfection does not exist in human beings.

I agree. I vote the same way. Sure I’d like to see a better conservative then one Senator in TN, but; I will still vote for Alexander over the Dem challenger. The challenger is a hard core rat who will rubber stamp Obama’s BS. Corker answers every letter and email I send. I have no problems with him.

Good points. I agree with you. Those who want to weed the Republican party out of those who are not conservative enough are shooting themselves in the head not the foot as we will not have a country left with two more years of Obama doing as he pleases and Harry Reid and pals enabling him. The time to weed the Republican party out is when we have a solid majority-not a minority.

You have no capacity to understand how absurd that statement is. Really, it's embarrassing. But here: here is some capacity for you to access, if you can read and comprehend on an adult level. I'll accept your apology at anytime.

“How about doing something that others who think like you cannot/will not do - explain how your thinking can be turned into a winning game plan.”

My “game plan” has to expose and weaken the Establishment, and also to show for all to see, the complicity between moderate republicans and democrats. I’ve been posting stories every day for two years straight. And we’re all aware of it now. They’ve had to play every dirty trick, to show their hands and to spend literally millions to barely win the elections this year.

McConnell and Cornyn won with 60%, then Graham with 56%, Cochran with 50%, Alexander with 48% and Roberts with 47%. Meanwhile, their coffers have been drained battling us, and their selected candidates are struggling across the country.

Unlike this year, there are a whole slew of RINO’S up for reelection in 2016 who voted for gun control, immigration, to raise the debt ceiling, cloture on Obamacare, etc. My hope that we’ll see a number of retirements since they won’t want to go through what incumbent senators went through this year...and there won’t be as much money anyway as donations to the RNC and NRSC have dried up...so they’ll be even more vulnerable. And the rest should be primaried.

This is a long war, and the enemy is exposed and weakened, when their intent was to “crush” and destroy us. I’ve been doing what I can.
