His last name is pronounced ‘simian’? How ironic...

As a “white” I feel uncomfortable in groups of blacks that judge me and decide without knowing me that because of my skin color I am a racist. Or having it implied that I had anything to do with slavery. Racism feeds in groups. On individual basis both races can interact as people when separate from that herd mentality. It is as uncomfortable being the minority white in a black group as the reversal since Obama has fanned the racism mantra for 6 years.

I am in Warsaw Poland right now. Even all the way here I can’t escape American race baiting liberals. I was thumbing through the radio stations and BBC radio pops up and even the BBC is covering this movie. Shift another station and World NPR shows up on the other with this Simien guy being interviewed. ARGH!!! The liberals have an erection for this guy and this stupid movie. I predict the only people who will see this are self hating white bearded hipsters and school students forced to watch it.

My first experience with Black People:

I was in ARTESIA NM back in 1959. I decided to go get a soda at noon at the local malt shop. You had to run as lots of kids had the same idea. When the bell rang I took off like a rocket and beat all of them!

When the owner came to get my order I heard these words from behind me.
“You better hurry you little M**********r! You better hurry or I’ll F*** you to death!”
I looked around and right behind me was the ugliest black girl I had ever seen in my 12 year old life!

Then she began again:
“You better hurry up you little M**********r or I’m gonna F*** you to death!”

My order came, I paid for it and as I was leaving she gave me these departing words! “It’s about time you little M**********r, I was about ready to F*** You to death RIGHT HERE!”

In all that time I had never said a word. I never went back for another soda.

That’s probably what her momma’s baby daddy used to say to her right before he did just that to her (though she survived...unfortunately)

Dear White People” is set at a fictional Ivy League school, Winchester University. The story centers on a group of mostly black students and their experiences.

Dear Black People; Yet there you are, at an Ivy League School.

FTA: “the black experience in the non-black world.”

That seems to carry the implication of a preference for an all black world. Perhaps we can interest him in a ticket for Liberia??? I’m sure he’d find that experience enlightening.

I was in the first integrated class at my elementary school. It was the first day of First Grade and we were all milling around outside waiting to be let in. Most of the kids were with a parent, but one little black girl was standing by herself. I walked up and said, “Hi, I’m Paul, what’s your name?”

She looked me square in the eye, hostile as all get out, and said, “My Mamma told me to not talk to white people.”

They have been taught young.

I thought the same thing as I read the OP. It seems to just take it for granted that a “white world”, that is, a region with a majority-white population, shouldn’t exist anywhere.

Dear Black People; Yet there you are, at an Ivy League School.

Just like Michelle Robinson Obama. Her Princeton thesis not only reeks of black racism, it's full of bad grammar and typographical errors. It would never have been accepted from a white student. In it she complains that she never felt that she fit in. Well, of course she didn't. All the white students there were intellectually head and shoulders above her. She was an affirmative action student, and it shows now.
