I might agree with you guys if he had any goodwill left within his own party. He has none. I think he is Hitler in the bunker. He might “lash out,” but only his sycophants will hear him.
As I just posted on another thread, governance is always generational. What we have seen in the last 10 years or so is the last stand of the ‘60s-and-early-’70s kids grown into power. Taking power and influence now are the grown-up Reagan-era kids. And they have a decidedly different worldview.

He still has the power of the Executive office and a pad of executive order blanks. He can still unleash untold misery on the America he hates.
A lot of dems are blaming him for their defeat. They are out of the picture once the newly elected take office.
BUT... a lot of those who held their seats did so by very slim margins in races that were supposed to be a cakewalk. They will blame him, too. It remains to be seen how this all plays out.
Now I’m praying for the Rs to be true conservatives and to vote in the best interest of the country, not their own pocketbook or personal agenda.
