Youth culture has become the dominant popular culture upon which most of Western society fixates. Technology has created virtual public spaces thus increasing popular culture’s perceived ubiquity. Any object or totem that can successfully package itself as "novel" acts as a metallic fishing lure. Often within hours the object is existentially justified as "popular" because it appears to be "popular", creating a feedback-loop.

Maybe there was an awakening? According to the dhimmiokkkrats, everything has improved over the last 6 years. Uh, maybe not so much?

Let’s analyze:

Obama elected in 2008.
All those HS and college students that voted for him graduated from college or took to the job market.

Got a degree.

Can’t find a job.

End of analysis......................

Add to that list the fact that they are now legally required to buy into Obamacare, or else pay a “penalty” at tax time.

Well, this gives me some hope for the future.

We’re told by some that Democrats have a lock on big groups of voters, such as blacks, single women, young people, any minority group, any grievance group such as the homosexuals.

Maybe Democrats don’t have a lock on all of these people.

being young, Millennials could be open to some very “radical” ideas - such as reform/elimination of the Federal Reserve, entitlement (esp. Soc. Sec.) reform

Besides not ‘liking’ EbolaObama or their reality of Obama Economics, the younger generation has nothing in common with the Geriatric Hate America leaders of the rat party.

The Clintoons, the icons/heroes of the aging Rat party, like so many of the elite rat power insiders are ancient in age and in their political core of hating America to get votes.

There are the other geriatric leaders of the rat party: Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Fineswine, Madam Secretary Kerry, Bidden, Jessie Jack$on/Al $harpton and others. They started their power trips in the 1960/70’s with a core of Hate America, anti business and supposedly concerned about pseudo racism. They have blamed America for the problems created by them and their allies here and around the world for decades.

Decades, later, they haven’t changed and still push their out of date anti America core beliefs to buy and pay for their feral voters. Their biggest failure, the War on Poverty, is in their minds, their biggest success.

They have left only false hope and no chance for change for the younger voters of America. Mean while they have looted the treasury and made their families and friends super wealthy elitist chrony capitalists. This leaves nothing but massive debts for our younger Americans.

Their so called younger stars are pro abortion Barbies and gay Kens with even harsher anti America values merged with phony anti racist bs backed by Eric Holder. As a result, their younger wannabees struck out as bad during this past election as their passe older generation.

So the current ancient rats and strike out newbees have nothing to offer younger Americans.

Any high schooler paying attention to anything, including how difficult it is to get into school (ridiculous), that unless they are Hispanic, their chances are considerably lower, and for no reason apparent to them, ditto - scholarships, that their older siblings and those of their of their friends are living with their parents, without a job, on their parents’ cell phone plan.

And it’s a whole lot worse if there’s some kind of advanced education - a law degree, etc.

They know there’s no medical care, and that their peers who are wandering around in a daze are just kidding.

THey do not like the hopelessness.

They won’t like us, in about 15 years when they discover that all we did was complain while strapping them with a $20,000,000,000.00 debt, BTW

They are not voting for Obama’s policies. The dems are too ideological to realize it and the GOP...well, they ARE old and selfish and stupid.

The Conservatives are the ones with a hint of a clue.

And no one has a lock on any demographic.

Not quite. They have also come to the realization that they have been duped and deceived by Obamacare and are now feeling its financial sting. And over the past six years they have witnessed repeated failures, contradictions and broken promises by a president they once believed in. The thrill is definitely gone.

Speaking as a millennial myself, I can say that millennial did not reject Obama per se. A large number of millennial (young millennial at least) are without moral foundation. They have no sense of duty, no sense of patriotism, no sense of honor. They hold nothing sacred. They are utterly debauched. They just want want want but will only do the absolute minimum amount of work required (because, like, they have lives outside of like, work). I'm sick to death of hearing cr@p like, "we're not like our parents, we aren't going to work ourselves to death when we can be out, like, living life and making memories and going to Burning Man concerts." Because of that mindset, big government that minimizes personal responsibility makes sense to them. It frees them up to rut like animals using birth control they didn't pay for.

They may have rejected Obama, but they didn't reject what he stands for. They just had a temper tantrum. And when an Obama clone runs in 2016, they'll vote for him/her. I'm telling you, there are very, very few full-spectrum conservatives coming out of the millennial generation. At best, they are libertarians who like guns and hate taxes, but support abortion and homosexuality and every manner of depraved filth because they hold "old" morality and social conservatism in contempt. The older folks are holder this country together, and when they are gone the moral bleakness of America will be astonishing.

...And what was the line in that song, The Band Plated Waltzing Matilda? "Year after year, more old men disappear..."

Obama now has gray hair.

He is now the enemy of young hipsters.

If he started wearing horn-rimmed glasses and a bow tie he might get some support from those millenials that still listen to Bill Nye.

I wish that the GOP would go after the Democrats on the War ON Poverty.

We fought a War on Poverty, and poverty won.

Why are liberals not held to account for the failures of their policies? Why do we never talk about how costly the war on poverty was, and continues to be to this day, and compare costs vs. results of our efforts to fight poverty???

How much has poverty been reduced since 1964?

How much have we spent on anti-poverty programs since 1964?

How many people have “graduated” from poverty as a result of the war on poverty programs?

How much has the cost of anti-poverty programs added to the trillions of our national debt today?

How many beneficiaries of anti-poverty programs become productive members of society, and grow up and are not themselves on public assistance????

Considering that such a big amount of federal spending goes to various “human services” programs, we never seem to discuss the results of that spending, whether we are spending money wisely in that area, whether we are getting results.

I agree with you, but its not completely new. A LOT of people are liberal when they are in and just out of college. A lot of old conservatives started out as idealistic liberals. Life happens and a lot of times people wise up. Not always, but a lot of times.

“Why Millenials Rejected Obama”

Obama’s the Establishment, man! You’re not part of the counterculture if you support the Establishment.

The time is right to make Letterman, Stewart, Maher, The View, etc the laughing stock. And by extension- Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Sharpton, etc... And then portray the logical superiority of conservatives in a way that reveals how they can vastly improve their immediate licves in demonstrable ways.

Then watch the next Reaganesque landslide. -That ushers in a new crop who actually achieve.
