I believe this is far more common than most of the recent news we're hearing concerning police. You certainly won't see this on CNN, MSNBC, or the network news. I doubt you'll see it on Fox News either.

So Dollar General decided to leave something in the field (reference to much older law), after talking to a good cop. Great Story.

Eggs are not in the same category as cigars.

Now watch tomorow, when she pulls this same trick at another Dollar General with another young black make officer. Only this time, she’ll be getting cake batter.
“For her child’s birthday’... right.

I've seen about three articles like this on Face-book recently. In one case the cop pulled over a woman that didn't have a legal car seat for her little boy. He took the lady to a store and bought one for her and put the child in it for her. No arrest or ticket.

Oh this story can’t possibly be correct after all O just told us that the problems are deeply rooted. /s

I am with you. I know that not all police officers are good guys but the great majority of them that I have met are top notch. Decent folks doing the best job they can to protect and serve

She told Officer Stacy that she was only stealing because she was trying to feed her children.

Bulls hit. There are alphabet agencies out the wazoo trying to give away money for this sort of thing. She wasn't forced to steal food for her kids.

What’s going to happen when she runs out of eggs again? This (even if the woman is sincere here) is just a temp fix.

Where’s the daddy? In the old days, daddy’s were responsible for bringing home the bacon (and eggs) to feed his wife and kids.

No need to steal. There are plenty of organizations and individuals who will help her out. Like this store and officer.

I guess I'll trust the man who met her face to face on this one.

Stacy talked with Dollar General, and they said they wouldn't prosecute. So Stacy made an offer.

"He said, 'If I give you these eggs, will you promise that you won't shoplift anymore?'" Reno said. "He knew that she was telling the truth and that's the reason he went in and bought the eggs."

Stacy bought the eggs and gave them to her, Reno said. The woman then asked if she could give him a hug.

“A woman caught shoplifting eggs in Tarrant Saturday didn’t leave with handcuffs and a court date.”

Uh, okay. She gets to avoid paying for her actions AND she gets free stuff? I don’t care if her children were starving. She could adopt them out, put them in foster care, etc. How is she going to cook these eggs? I could understand a starving person stealing bread, but eggs?

There “should” be a husband and father for the children.

If a family needs help, they should first go to their extended family, who have a Biblical obligation to help.

If that does not fix the problem, the family should go to their church.

It was a very nice thing the officer did.

The anti-US-jobs policy of the financial elites of globalist new world order is designed to destroy the support system mentioned above, and increasingly produce this situation, which is - fatherless poor families (regardless of their ethnic background).

So the woman left her children in the car, unattended, while she committed a crime. In my part of the world, the shop lifting might be overlooked but the “child abuse,” would be fully prosecuted.

There are a lot of desparate people right now in this country. There are also a lot of good people wearing police uniforms out there. The bad apples get all the publicity.

I have heard so many stories of police reaching into their own pockets to help someone in need. It never ceases to amaze me. On top of this, lets understand that police in general are at a lower end of the monetary pay scale, and this is why many do overtime or outside work. So for them to give, and give, and give, at their own personal expense is overwhelming to me; and usually shows my personal lack of grace and generosity.
