So was Jeb Bush. etc ad nauseum. She has no track record in DC. She doesn't seem to be one who has stood up to Obama's policies. What has she done to keep invaders out of New Mexico? To make the border more secure?

I'd rather see someone not corrupted by the DC crowd. Scott Walker. Rick Perry.

What does "female Hispanic" have to do with being a "great add to the ticket"? "A great add" would be someone like Jeff Sessions who has consistently and convincingly defended what we believe in. I'm way past thinking that filling a demographic is going to get us anything but more of the same in DC.
If there's any demographic I'd like to fill, it would be qualified to be Commander in Chief. I wonder of Joni Ernst might have some potential.
