Sheetz? Uhmmmmm, it won’t work here in Texas, sounds to much like what comes out after you eat. Maybe the immigrant crowd will line up but not Texicans.

It’s a good practice.

As for food service attendance and preparation, I invite the casual interested party to google back on stories relating to Leona Helmsley....

Where did you find “pre-packaged” food in my post?

In b-school 20+ years ago, this was a case study.

I hated the idea, because I figured I'd be one of the lucky ones to always get stuck behind the mother giving each of her kids a turn to choose and attempt to press and enter the choice(s).

Twenty plus years later, I rarely go to MickeyD's, so that doesn't bother me, but the removal of job opportunities for giving teenagers work experience does.

I would think they could figure out a way to order your meal from your smart phone as well. Just log into the local wifi network and place your order.

You seem to think real restaurants will become obsolete in favor of McStuff sitting under a heat lamp or McStuff in a machine.

I don’t “seem to think” that, I know that. Sure, there will still be high-end, expensive, white tablecloth restaurants for the elites but for us? Did you know that Olive Garden and many other chains already serve pre-packaged frozen foods that are merely re-heated?

“Crappy, out of date web site. I will say that that is an unfortunate name for an establish that sells food.”

Their website looks pretty decent to me:

https://www.sheetz.com

As far as the name, do you sleep on a bare mattress, or does the thought of being covered with sheets keep you up all night, lol? Being put off by ESL mispronunciations must be a Texas thing.

This is happening in some other food places. McDonalds has been testing this in some
CA stores and will expand to 30 more locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, Georgia, Missouri
and Pennsylvania. And in 2015 to 2,000 U.S. locations nationwide.

The door handles you used to enter the restaurant are nasty today. You don’t even want to know what’s all over the grocery cart you pushed around for 30 minutes in the grocery store. Do you accept change when it’s handed to you?

Exposure promotes inoculation, unfortunately it also promotes contagion. Check out how West Nile works.

Sheetz? I’ve never heard of it. I’ve never had it. So I can safely say I’ve never been full of Sheetz. The jokes write themselves so I’m sure you’ve heard them all before.
