Gordon Barnes, the editor-in-chief of The Advocate, penned the disturbing editorial calling for violent protests.
A disturbing editorial in a CUNY grad-student newspaper calls for rioters protesting the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown to arm themselves and wage violent war with cops.
“The time for peace has passed,” says a revolutionary editorial titled “In Support of Violence” that was penned by editor-in-chief Gordon Barnes in the Dec. 3 issue of The Advocate.
The problem with the protesters’ violence in Ferguson is that it is unorganized. If the violence was to be organized, and the protesters armed — more so than the few that sparingly are — then the brunt of social pressures would not be laid onto middling proprietors [of looted small businesses], but unto those deserving the most virulent response of an enraged populace,” Barnes writes in the CUNY Grad Center’s publication.
“The acts of looting, destruction of property and violence directed towards state representatives is not only warranted, it is necessary,” says Barnes, a doctoral student in history who once studied in Cuba....

Mr. Barnes should personally lead his protesters into the fray, instead of hiding in his ivory tower.
My, my, my... It does appear more and more that all of this racial unrest is being organized by the so-called leadership and intelligentsia in government and academia.

Well, for whites, especially conservatives, veterans, etc. But this is Obama’s America so. . .
Any assault, rioting, and so forth needs to be connected back to him so he can be criminally charged and held civilly liable.

I might be wrong, but it seems that like with the Mullahs in Islamic Jihad the guys calling for violence are always calling for someone else to get out there and put their life on the line or wear a suicide vest.
All of this started when a kid high on drugs assaulted a neighborhood watchman. And really revved up when another kid high on drugs assaulted a storekeeper and then assaulted a policeman.
But that isn’t really what happened. Holder’s Justice Department funded agitators in both cases who moved into the area and began organizing the street demonstrations we see. That, and the press began the incessant drumbeat we are commenting on here. “Journalists”, “academics”, and “community leaders”, all fake, creating a fake crisis where there really isn’t one.
Anyone interested in propaganda, public relations, and mass mind control could study this case and learn a lot about what works and what doesn’t. Who it works on and who it doesn’t work on, the reach and limitations on this kind of artificial political agitation.
The purpose is simple, create chaos that creates the pretext needed for the government to step in. In this kind of thing, the street mobs and the government are in collusion. The government uses the mobs to do the things it can’t do openly, and to create a demand for top-down repression. Which they will gladly provide when the time is right.

Hey Barnes baby.........you got a map of the world upside down.....I guess backward, upside down and inside out thinking all go together.
My take also. If he feels so strongly about it, he should grab his rifle, his communist or ISIS flag, and lead the people personally. He will learn quickly whether or not he can tolerate the smell of gunpowder and blood.
