Nobody can give a sane reason why the US supported, and still supports, driving Assad out of power in Syria. Look at the map. With Assad gone, ISIS has a corridor to the Med and real easy access to destabilizing Lebanon. How does that help the US, Israel, or what’s left of civilization in Europe? It’s a policy that benefits no one but Saudi Arabia, the country that has never seemed willing and/or able to fight their own wars.
The disintegration of the Arab world benefits Iran, and no one else, which is why Iran is behind it all. The destruction of their ally, Assad, won’t change anything, neither would the destruction of the ISIS newbies. The mullahcracy in Iran must be destroyed.

You are looking at the situation the wrong way. The destabilization of Lebanon, the destruction of Israel and of all Western Civilization are undesirable outcomes for you and me, but they are among the goals of left.
That Zero plan allows more chaos, like Libya...Benghazi....so it makes me wonder too.
