Wasn’t Obama the president for the last 5 years?
As far as I am concerned, he wasn’t. He occupies the White House, but, I will die and go to hell before I ever acknowledge him as President.
I believe Dave Mustane of Megadeth put it best
“Tremble you weaklings,cower in fear
I am your ruler, land, sea and air
Immense in my girth, erect I stand tall
I am a nuclear murderer I am Polaris”

The Taliban are declaring themselves the winner. The new front lines in the war on terror is going to be within our own cities.
Every thing this boy president does is to ultimately against the interests of the USA. By his actions, B. Hussein O. wants chaos and destruction.
The War on Poverty? Great! No more income redistribution!
And what will be said when thousands of Afghan women have their eyes plucked out because they learned to read during the past 10-12 years?
Ending?
Well I guess when we leave with the same people still holding guns, I suppose you can say that.
Worked out well for S. Vietnam.
“Comrades! I have glorious news for you. We have always been at war with Amerika.”

He’s surrendering to the war on poverty? The war on drugs?
War against communism.
And we lost.
He hated the war because BUSH started it. Doesn’t matter if the war was helping US interests or not.
Will somebody please tell the Taliban, AQ, the Haqqani Network and all the rest of them that the war is over? The war doesn’t end if one side keeps fighting. Look for Afghanistan to become a launchpad for global jihad once again down the road, courtesy of Barack Obama...
A war that began around 700 AD and will continue no mater what O says.

Whether speaking of Iraq or Afghanistan, the American Left mind game that a war has ended just because America has left the battlefield is just that, a mind game. It’s as if Europe and Asia continued fighting WWII and the U.S. just picked up and went home, and declared the war was “over”.
The real war in Iraq was the multiple wars of religious militias and terrorists, Sunni and Shia, against the U.S. mission to help shape a new Iraq democratically, and against each other, and against the U.S. for trying to end their fighting between each other. The U.S. departure ended only the U.S. engagement in the continuing wars in Iraq. Nothing “ended” and in fact some aspects of those wars got worse.
The real war in Afghanistan was, and remains, the war of the Taliban against any democratic civil society in Afghanistan. That war is not ended with the U.S. departure.
The language that either war “ended” comes from the Left’s internal generated political myths that most any war is the fault of the U.S. and everything will get better in the world as long as the U.S. military stands down everywhere.
I think coming to America is more like it.
