If you took the over on 19 votes, you won! There were 25 defectors on the Speaker, a number tantalizingly close to the 29 they needed. But then, that makes sense:

Since they elected an extreme left-wing liberal as speaker, they can do without my vote; State, local, and federal. No eGOP candidates ever again. I won’t feed the beast that is destroying my country.

I think the 28 were legitimate. They voted their conscience, despite the name calling and arm twisting. Let's go after the RINOs, not the 28.

We need a Tea Party candidate to run against Boehner. And if Boehner wins the seat again, conservatives should just vote Democratic. It's only one seat, but it could make a world of difference. That is if we still have elections in 2 years with a Obama/Boehner rule.

That would be the smart thing to do. This is just the beginning of the season. It’s rare to win every game. The ship of state is very, very large and there are trillions of dollars lined up against us, along with the entire school system, the media in all its forms, bureaucracies from the local to the federal level, etc.

We’re winning, still.

The protest vote was planned and completely staged. The caucus leadership allowed some of the Members to vote against Boehner. The outcome of the vote was never in question.

And in exchange for releasing them Team Boehner will call in those chits later when he needs their votes on something else in the progressive agenda.

Of course it makes sense. They were never going to get to 29. Now they can claim “we heard you, we just didn’t have the votes, darn it all anyway.”

The fix is in. Time for a real conservative alternative party.

Just 11% of republicans didn’t vote for the Speaker.
89% did vote for him.

Tempest in a teapot, this is what we have to work with.

And Harry Reid’s doctor recommended he stay home and steal from there. I know Reid is in the Senate.

I didn’t think so before, but I do now. I wish there was a clear leader. This should have been a slam dunk against Boehner, instead they couldn’t get more than 28 to go against him.

The GOP iis officially no longer my party.

They are owned by their major contributors.

Only a handful are worth a damn and I'm not even sure there're that many.

The GOP is even worse than the Democrats. At least the Democrats are honest about their beliefs and they look out for their constituants.

It is time to destroy the GOP. Things can’t get any worse than they are now.

Well, now you know that the game is over. We're truly done as a constitutional republic when those men and women whom held themselves as virtuous defenders of the constitution, refuse to do what is right.

Each man and woman has their price. It only took 30 pieces of silver to condem Jesus. The price has gone up a bit since then but the outcome will still be the same.

28 voted against Boehner/Pelosi - By my count (I may be wrong) 25 members didn’t vote,m of which 23 were Dems. The Dems corrupted the process by not showing up and got Boehner re-elected. Is anyone out there? HELLO? HELLO? No one see this but me????

I have said all along, and I am sure many others have thought the same thing, that nothing will change in Washington.

We have two corrupt political “Big Government” parties and the will of the people no longer matters.

So do not look for Obamacare to be defunded or changed, along with any number of other important issues.

I am getting to the point where I can no longer see supporting Republicans at any Federal Level any longer.
