Mario Cuomo’s funeral was today and about a dozen or more Dems attended the funeral instead of showing up to vote.

Trey Gowdy play political theatre for the cameras at the hearings. Nothing will ever result from his investigation I fear

He’s not...didn’t take long for Glenn to become part of the establishment.

He’s not just a fraud but he is a straight up liar.

He has a lot of power, a lot of members owe him favors, and he can kick them off committee’s and stuff.

Boehner is in celebration mode from dawn to dusk. He doesn’t wait until evening to do his “cheers.” He’s an all-day drunk.

Well, changing registration is your choice, but it may keep you out of voting in the 2016 primaries, depending on your state. It really hurts conservatism to remove oneself from the primaries.

Just as clarification there were 24 GOP No Votes for Boehner, 1 GOP voted Present. 408 votes were cast so 27 Reps did not attend the session. Supposedly many went to Mario Cuomo funeral. With 408 votes cast, the rebels needed 35 no votes. If all 435 votes were cast the rebels would of needed 29.

how often do these vote for new speaker occur? Every 2 years or every year or any time a speaker loses confidence of the majority?

Gowdy is another all-talk, no-show fake Conservative. It’s been six months since he was selected to chair the Benghazi probe AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.

If anything good comes out of the “vote” TODAY, I hope that Conservatives finally turn their collective back on the Whigs. SECOND PARTY NOW.

BTW, over on gop.com, notice there is a place to contribute, but not one place to leave comments. Nor is there any interest group for Conservatives. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR VOTE AND YOUR MONEY. DENY THEM BOTH.

You can work with it. Knock yourself out. I’m gone.
I will either vote for Tea Party candidates or independents.

FK the fake conservatives.

May the primary season begin for them today!

Conservatives need to forget about the Republican party, and move on. This was the moment of truth. Conservatives will never have a better chance to win the intra-party fight than today, and it just wasn't enough. Not blaming them at all, just looking at reality.

Conservative leaders (Cruz, Lee, Sessions, Palin, etc.) need to lead conservatives in a new direction. If they fail to do that, and remain an irrelevant thorn in the sides of those that oppose conservatism above all else (the Republican party, for those not paying attention), then they are not leading, and not worthy of following.

This won't be solved by following the example of David Brat. This will be solved by following the example of Nigel Farage.

The only difference between them is the degree and speed at which the State should do (x).

None of them ever ask if the State SHOULD do (x).

I'm checking on what I have to do now to change my party affiliation. When I do, I think I'll mail my old card to the Republican party.

So called Tea Party Conservative voted for the GOP Tokyo Rose

Boner, who wants to eradicate the Tea Party got many votes from the people we elected to stand up against the GOPe.

Mia, sad to say today you are just a sellout HO, your could have been a contender for VP with a conservative candidate, and you blew it. You are a fallen Angel, now you will be on my list on the wall of Tea Party people who shafted the Tea Party and should be primaried.

This was organized and executed like the Bay of Pigs (and I was there in 1961).

With better advance planning, strategy, and recruiting this could very easily have been a victory instead of a defeat.

You don’t DEFEAT A POWER-HUNGRY EGO MANIAC by just ‘throwing your hat into the ring’.

Gowdy is being killed on his facebook page. Wow!

I’m watching Pelosi babble on C-Span. Boehner is standing next to her. He looks like a Negro. Good grief, the pu$$y is crying again! He is crying again!
