Actually it raced in the other direction. You can see the camera try to go after it. It wasn’t just left behind.
It probably exploded out of the back.
Bright light bouncing around inside the camera lens.
Just reflection.
What is really cool is when you are looking through your telescope and one of these comes in straight at you. Quite a surprise!
Object is reentering atmosphere at a shallow angle and rotating as it cartwheels in upper layer of atmosphere. There is not a lot of any sign of debris coming off and appears more controlled than uncontrolled as in ablative material designed to reduce speed and keep heat away from what ever it is. Could have been an aircraft departing controlled flight at hypersonic speed. No sound or sonic boom, but in the audio you can hear two small and distant muffled explosions, simultaneously see the object depart at near 90 degrees outbound, hear the two explosions again louder because of the distance separation and the speed of sound. The sound could also be a double sound barrier wave the same that is heard when the space shuttle scrubs off speed in its final turn into Edwards AFB coming out of Mach 10 and before going subsonic. This does not appear to be a meteorite the way the second object separates glowing and without a contrail or burn trail of its own as it goes in the opposite direction. Very interesting video and does not appear to be faked.
Interesting!
Anybody have a link to the vid?
For some reason the index sidebar at the article covers half the screen when not viewed on a PC monitor ....
