Full title:
Mystery of the glowing orb: Bizarre fireball that splits in two could be a meteorite burning up in Earth's atmosphere
To: RoosterRedux
Aliens have returned to bring us more advanced technology that will aid us in a continuing cycle of de-evolving as seen in the latest Tweets from today’s youths...

I vote for
"a meteorite breaking apart in the atmosphere."

It looks awfully fake to me, especially the “thing” ejected.

Not saying aliens, but that piece that broke off and not only went up, but back defies gravitational physics. Also it looks way to I slow for a meteor. Reminds me of the shuttle that was destroyed in re-entry. I’m betting a spacecraft no one is talking about that had a problem.

Probably a military craft reentering the atmosphere and then ejecting a payload of some kind..

I suspect it was merely a reappearance of the orb

Not saying it looks like a meteor, but it looks like a meteor.

Yeah. The non reaction to it raises a red flag for me.

Because of the height difference between the object(s) and the camera, it’s impossible to tell whether the “escape pod” went up, backward, toward or away.
I didn’t see the escape pod change direction in mid-air once it “escaped”. Could easily be a meteor that lost a piece of itself due to extreme heat of re-entry.
To: ThePatriotsFlag
Right on. Also defies general physics.
The forces required to totally reverse the velocity of the object moving to the left are unimaginable, let alone the additional forces required for the 2nd object to totally reverse direction.
A second point is that the object that separated left no trail, but clearly seemed to be operating under its own power in a very controlled direction.
These facts and more clearly indicate intelligent control.
I’ll not go beyond that in speculation.......

However, others have said it is more likely to have been a meteorite breaking apart in the atmosphere. And when it broke apart, the shape of one piece caught the air differently, causing it to be deflected to another trajectory.
Or it was an escape pod. I'm not sayin' it was aliens, but...

Correct. But if you watch it, you will see the exact same behavior and even the pieces separating that “appear” to launch backwards. The visual is deceptive, but it’s a meteor without doubt. That was my point, this was an example
