Arch was my father’s law school roommate and good friend. He was an outstanding man that thoroughly loved his state and bettered it more than any other governor since. Dad also had business with Rockefeller. Said he was incredibly naïve and “not real bright.” Arch did more for West Virginia than Rockefeller could even suggest. RIP, Arch.
