“Mark it down as a rare win for House GOP moderates”

What’s rare about the GOP establishment getting their way?

This is just the first of many victories by the moderate/RINO faction that rules the GOP.

What’s rare is conservatives getting a win.

No more abortion means no more Republicans. Remember how Blacks have been voting for Democrats all these years based on promises that their lives would be better? No more racism, no more Democrats. It’s the same thing. The emperor has no clothes.

I no longer buy into the illusion that our nation will recover from this downward spiral. Elections won’t fix this.

This bill allows for abortions up to 20 weeks, why is there need for any Rape Exemption? A woman that has been raped has 20 weeks to solve the problem, right?

Why is there any need to put anything about Rape and Incest in this legislation?

What am I missing?

Shocker! NOT! Come on folks, do you really think that these elected folks are going to stand up against public opinion? Especially when public opinion is wrong!

These folks are far and few and not sure that we have elected any this cycle.

And once again, the name Renee Ellmers pops up in a bad way.

Shes for amnesty and against limiting abortion.

She’s a) a Republican and b) an effective representative of North Carolina just how?

1000 ping.

Right again. It’s a supernatural ability we have SJB. Has to be. no one can be this correct this often without divine intervention.

Or we just understand the GOP and the Democrats are the same people and most hate us for it. One or the other is correct. I wonder which...

The headline would be more accurate if it simply said House GOP leaders cave

House GOP Leaders Cave ....

I don’t know how many times I’ve read that headline, regardless of the topic.

I’m bloody sick of it.

Every conservative has to ask himself what he’s doing supporting the party of no principles. Isn’t that what we’re supposed to oppose?

Rare? Who is this author trying to kid? This is just more plantation politics from the gop faction of the uniparty.

The basic principles of plantation politics seem to be:(1) never, ever, ever pass a law or take an action that reduces your power. (2) don’t actually solve a problem or deliver too much to your base. Parcel it out slowly; you want to keep the suckers coming back for more.

Dwell on this GOP-E apologists...the House Republicans could NOT bring an anti-abortion bill to the floor for a vote because there was NOT enough Republican support for it.

Lesser evil and all that jive.

On Tuesday, two female Republicans -- Rep. Renee Ellmers of North Carolina and Rep. Jackie Walorski of Indiana -- removed themselves as cosponsors of the legislation. Walorski later posted on her Facebook page that she would vote for the bill, but she declined to comment on the issue further.

They're liars.
