Obama: 'Get Your Kids Vaccinated'
The Weekly Standard ^ | 2/2/2015 | DANIEL HALPER

Posted on 02/02/2015 8:05:13 AM PST by Jan_Sobieski

"I understand that there are families that in some cases are concerned about the effect of vaccinations. The science is, you know, pretty indisputable. We've looked at this again and again. There is every reason to get vaccinated, but there aren't reasons to not," said Obama.

"You should get your kids vaccinated. It's good for them, but we should be able to get back to the point where measles effectively is not existing in this country."

Obama: “Vaccinate your children to cover for my competence/incompetence (depending on whom you ask) dealing with unchecked illegal immigration...”

George Washington, John Hancock, John Adams, James Madison, and Jonathon Edwards all applaud you for your vaccinations...oh wait...they didn’t know what vaccinations were. You can explain that to them in heaven.

i was a bit iffy about the reports of increased autism rates relating to injections (1 in 68 now, up from 1 in 250 less then 10 years ago)

i don’t trust a word he utters, yet i’m supposed to inject some foreign substance into my children on his insistence?

ummm... yea. not going to happen

“Diseases have always coexisted with humans. If vaccinations are so indispensable, how did our faith based forefathers survive?”

Coexisted? Perhaps, in the same sense that one can “coexist” with muslims, if they can’t kill you fast enough to finish you off. Our forefathers survived by being killed by disease, often in droves, until a lucky few developed a resistance they could pass on to their offspring.

I’d rather not go back to that condition.

too many parents know when something is wrong and the development of autism in formerly healthy kids following a vax reaction(sometimes within hours or days) is just too coincidental. Inflammation of the brain/CNS is inflammation, and vax reactions are acknowledged- just not that possible result of some cases of inflammation is permanent damage and autism-like symptoms and behaviors

My own autistic teenage son regressed in his behaviors within days of receiving his recent round of vax and he is 17! Fortunately he is back with us now

However, vax can be spread out over several visits and intervals so that multiple potentially toxic adjuvants and weakened virus strains are not all dumped into little bodies all in one day for the convenience of the doctor’s schedule

A pity he cannot urge his peeps to tell their kids to ‘pull up their pants,’ and behave in school and on the streets
____________________________________________________________

The kids would pull them lower than they are, or not any at all and they wouldn’t set foot in an educational facility...just saying, anything this bozo says, people do the opposite....

Bad stuff...but I believe that God can protect our kids. Long before vaccinations he was doing so (Psalms 91)

ask the native Americans (including Hawaiians) how well they existed with smallpox and measles brought to the New World by our faith-based forefathers

Six years, and I finally agree with him about something.

BUT, Jan_Sobieski is absolutely correct. Had a small percent of native-born Americans decided not to vaccinate their kids it wouldn’t have had a big impact. But letting tens of thousands of unvaccinated - dare I say, illegal aliens - into our communities and schools is a recipe for disaster.

If vaccinations are so indispensable, how did our faith based forefathers survive?

Having just read the excellently written and researched book "Jack Hinson's One Man War" I can tell you that, in those days, children reaching adulthood was more the exception than the case.

I was amazed at the mortality from disease and other causes in those times.

Regardless, while Obama is President I basically consider him to effectively be personally administering all vaccinations. I'll wait until more virtuous people are in charge to consider any vaccination.

What about God’s promise to protect those who call on him and heal those who do contract those diseases?

Yet most who get the vacines have no problems whatever.

Doesn’t this administration have a Surgeon General whose role it is to spin political medical issues to the press?

LOL.

Another poster said that if Obama was for it, he was against it.

There is that to consider, as well.

I believe they knew the crude method of deliberately infecting oneself with smallpox in hopes of developing a mild form of disease that could be survived

Here is an anecdote about John Adams inoculating himself

https://suite.io/brian-deming/1z042ak

As military strategists they were probably also aware of the pre-colonial English army delivering smallpox-infected blankets to native tribes they considered troublemakers

A a big source of these outbreaks is all the illegals that Obama let walk into the country. But will anyone call him on it? Nah. Let’s all pretend that its average, middle class US citizens who just happen to start breaking out with diseases that we haven’t seen in decades.
