Despite Donald Trump's seventh place finish during this year's Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll, the business tycoon is adamant that he's the only Republican able to beat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Trump told Fox News on Monday that he has "a great team" in place for a potential 2016 campaign, and said, "If I run, I think I'll win." "I think I'll beat Hillary," Trump said. "I understand Hillary, I know Hillary. I know the weaknesses; I know the strengths. And I think I would beat Hillary, and I think it would be more likely that I would win than somebody else." "I think she's not going to have such a clear road as people are saying and I think the election's going to be a very, very tough one depending on who the Republicans pick," Trump added. During CPAC, Trump announced he's 80 percent likely to run for the Republican nomination for president.

Underestimate them at your own risk.
Entitlement army to provide the votes, crony capitalists to provide the campaign money.
Last time Trump ran, he might have had a chance.
Now he’s turning into Ross Perot, a billion dollar joke.
Well, at least Ross Perot had chops to send in his own team to rescue employees from Iran, when Carter wouldn’t. Trump, I don’t think, would, and to my knowledge, lacks even that “get’er done” example.
Let him run in the demonicrat primary ...

Politics has become too much like sales, nothing more. In the past, our Founding Fathers had lives of their own outside Washington. Each spoke multiple languages, each founded a country that is the USA, and ended up successfully steering our budding country.
I can’t quite put my finger on WHEN politics became nothing more than a career, something that was focused on to the exclusion of all else. Usually politics would be something that came later in life after a lifetime of work and experience living a normal regular life.
Anyone else notice that the only superlative trump knows is the word “very”?
True egos are funny and dangerous.
Sadly true. The country is mostly red except for the northeast and left coast. Thats enough to win it .
