Dear Republicans, Please Do Not Save Obamacare

The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the King v. Burwell case this week. Petitioners are asking that Obamacare be enforced as it was conceived and written by Democrats in 2010 rather than how it’s been conveniently re-imagined by Democrats in 2015.

Whatever the outcome will be, watching the Left panic over the case tells us just how risky a ruling could be for the future of Obamacare. If the SCOTUS does find that the 75-percent subsidy the federal government has been dubiously giving health insurers in the 37 states that rejected Obamacare “marketplaces” are illegal, there is a good chance the law could be in serious trouble.

Unless, that is, someone bails it out.

Which brings me to Sen. Ben Sasse, who recently warned in the Wall Street Journal that if the King v. Burwell goes the way of conservatives, the ensuing liberal attacks would be devastating. The GOP will be blamed for shutting off chemotherapy and dialysis machines and engaging in various forms of gentricide. Sasse argues that the administration will then approach all the non-subsidy state governments with bribes that would extend the subsidies to all states. Under political pressure, Republicans governors would be helpless to resist and Obamacare would be saved.

So the Nebraska senator has an idea:

Barack knew he’d get America hooked on this thing, colossally bad deal as it was (it would have been cheaper to grow Medicaid).

Every Congressmen should say

“My constituents, and the nation, elected me and this Congress to save the middle class from the destruction that is Obamacare. The Supreme Court has just pointed out one of its many fatal flows. Its not the first to be found, and it won’t be the last. Let’s get to work on a new health care system which actually works.”

Many of the Republicans are closet Democrats and we still have a lot of cleaning the system out. Bonehead is one of them and never should be reelected speaker. Big Mistake!!!!!

The greatest gift the Republican Congress could ever give us is the death of Obamacare.

Conservatives have to fight two fronts: Dims and Republicans. Dims try to stab us in the chest; while we’re trying to fend them off, Republicans are stabbing us in the back.

The UniParty—a two-pronged attack.

The greatest gift the Republican Congress could ever give us is the death of Obamacare.

A gift implies top down benevolence to the great unwashed as a favor. Conservative voters elected a republican controlled congress into power as a MANDATE to repeal Obamacare, not to be replaced with another form of government largesse. Voters don't want "gifts", we want action in the form of repeal or at the very least, death by de-funding.

“There is no opposition party :(”

There is no such thing as a Republican. You are either a Conservative, An Establamist or a Communist.

And the Communists caucus with the Establamists.

I think its safe to assume that the gop faction of the uniparty will move heaven and earth to save deathcare. Same with amnesty. Elections have consequences.

That’s the point Elections don’t have consequences, we are left with the same options we had before and the truth is we would have been better off with a Democratic senate in this sittuation. At least the RINO’s in the house wouldn’t be so quick to betray us with their ‘republican flavor’ of Obamacare.

Yup. Elections have consequences. Vote for a bunch of uniparty hacks in conservative drag and the results are predictable. The rational alternative is to vote other than uniparty or to not participate.

There are no other parties, althou it seems your right in that we have to simply stop voting for theses RINO’s leave them to be defeated by the true democrats.
